Hi,
I hope this doesn't sound silly but in the last few days I've noticed that my bottom teeth have become really sensitive. This has never happened to me before in my life. Anyway, I was trying to think what I might have changed in my routine and the only thing I could think of was that I started using City Lips. I've been using it steadily for about three weeks now. Does anyone think that some of the City Lips ingredients rubbing on my teeth could cause this? Has anyone else here experienced this?
Thanks. |

I’m almost positive that your lip plumper isn’t the cause because I don’t find anything in the CityLips ingredients that would cause tooth sensitivity. Have you made any other changes recently: new brand of toothpaste, toothbrush or mouthwash? Have you begin taking any new vitamins/supplements or medications? I just can’t see the lip plumper being the culprit here.... |

Thanks Carekate for taking a look at the ingredients and for letting me know that you don't see anything suspect. After spending almost 30 Euro on one little tube, I would hate it if I had to stop using it!
The thing is I haven't changed anything or added anything new to my routine. I did open a new tube of toothpaste (Colgate Total) but it is the brand that I always use. Maybe something is strange with this particular tube... I just don't know what to think. It's like a dull pain (not a bad pain) in my lower teeth. I know that my teeth are okay though because I was at the dentist a few weeks ago and everything was fine.
Strange...I hope I figure this out soon... |

you could be grinding your teeth while you sleep.... try opening your mouth as wide as you can and hold it for a slow count of ten. do this quite a few times every night before you go to bed. it helps release the tension of the day in your jaw area.

If I am having my home-made salad dressing with lots of fresh lemon juice my teeth get sensitive. (It's the lemon juice that does it.) Look at anything you might be eating that may cause that too. |

I agree with lily. I think you should really check if it's something you're eating/drinking. I have huge problems with sensitive teeth, there's only one brand of toothpaste I can tolerate and I've tried everything! Sometimes, anything can cause me pain. If you've just had a really hot drink and then go out in the cold for example. That affects me. Or even some really hot drinks or really cold ones. I can't tolerate extremes for instance. I'm sure that it's not your lip product that's the problem. Even a change in diet could affect the situation sometimes. Oh yes, and your mouthrinse - perhaps that could be it?

maybe you should stop using city lips for a week or two and see if the sensitivity in your teeth stop. |

I actually did stop the City Lips to see if it made a difference and the sensitivity seems to be getting a bit better. Though it could just be that they are getting better with time. When the teeth feel 100% again, I will try the City Lips again and hope (big time) that the sensitivity doesn't come back. |

i think that the city lips probably has something to do with sensitivity of the tooth. Since lip plumpers are able to make your lips sensitive and tingly |
