I've done some reading about this product on this forum. It seems to get pretty consistent raves.
How many of you here use it regularly? If so, how often do you use it and what sort of results do you see from it? Is this a "must-have" product? |

I use it once a week and have been doing that for a couple of months. I also love the silkia camilla oil that I purchased with it from the same goldportbeauty site. My results are much brighter skin tone and smoother texture. My skin color is so even and clear that I now have the guts to go out without any foundation, just minimal makeup with eye liners. My pores are smaller and some lines are gone. I can't say if its a must-have for everyone but for me its fab. |

this is a must have for me! I bought 2, and will definitely reorder when I run out. I love how my face feels after using this....smooth just like my face feels a few days after a chemical peel. |

I'm also on my second jar now and still love it. I use it twice a week and it makes my face feel very smooth, which makes the mineral make-up foundation I wear look so much better. |

OK...
So where's the best place to buy it?
I see it's available on a couple sites, including goldportbeauty.com.
I haven't checked yet, but I'm sure it's on eBay too...
What's the cheapest/most reliable? |

I have used Goldport Beauty before with no trouble.
If you buy from Ebay, the seller is actually the company direct so there is a lot of CS etc available. |

Sorry, but I'm not sure what "CS" stands for...
... or if this is supposed to encourage me or discourage me from going the eBay route? |

I use goldportbeauty.com and have experienced absolutely first class service. I'd definitely recommend them.
Haven't tried the eBay option. |

I have it and don't like it at all. It dosen't ball the skin off like it says it will. It did nothing for my skin other than turn it red.
You are not supposed to use it if you are on Retin-A |

I don't like it that much either. It balls up but I believe most of them are dried Epidermix not your dead skin cell. My face hurt each time I use it and now I use Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant. Much better and NO pain. |

my question is after you use it, do you go on with your normal nightly routine of products? |

no. you need to be careful what you put on.
I would recommend:
Epiderm Dermabutter
Camellia Oil (or other nourishing oil with no addtivies)
L'Occitane Immortelle dry oil (I love this after a microderm treatment)
PSF also have a new oil developed for after microderm/peel use.
You dont want parabens and other chemicals to put onto the fresh skin. Certainly not any retinol, AHA's etc. either.

I found it too harsh for my skin, would not repurchase. |

are you really not supposed to use Epidermx if you also use Retin-A???? I don't use them on the same night, but after 4 days of Retin-A use, I like to use the Epidermx to really get rid of all the dead skin cells. Does anyone really know??? |

ooh, that's the kind of question I would direct to the company directly. Their web address iswww.epidermx.net
I found with my skin in winter I would wait 3 days between treatments and in summer 2 days. So for example, in summer I would use it MON then again on THU and then next on SUN.
At the moment I stopped as doing a course of peels, but will then go back alternating the microderm with peels. |

i emailed the company and they replied saying not to use the epidermix on the same day as the retinol |

I don't like that much either. I use it once in a while, but it never balls up and it's a little bit harsh for my skin. Once I'm done, I don't think I'll be purchasing it again. |

I dont raelly like it. The crystal is soft(softer than dr brandt's), and I dont think it does the job.
Totally agree with MACrisis. I also think that what balls up is the dried cream, not my skin. |

I apply my SC Retinol 0.5% one night, then use the Epidermx the next night.
After using the Epidermx, I apply camellia oil, then my usual moisturiser (which is a lovely, mild, natural one by Neal's Yard Remedies) after the oil has soaked in.
That seems to work really well for me. |

If you have pretty good skin (only a few pimples and some scars), I would suggest that dont use it. It tends to make my skin thinner and my face becomes so sensitive. In my case, It doesnt help in diminishing scars too. |

Wow, what a broad range of responses.
Gathering all that info, I have decided not to purchase Epidermx for the time being. I already have a lot of stuff going on in my skincare regimen right now and I don't want to complicate things or overdo it.
So thanks for the info, everyone. It definitely seems to be a product that works well for some, but not for others. |

I've just bought a sample of epidermx and have used it several times now. I use it at night before bedtime and put my normal Cetaphil cream moisturiser on top. Is this an OK moisturiser to use or should I buy the dermabutter instead? I have very oily skin, but am using differin which dries it out a bit (I don't use differin on the epidermx nights!)
I find I get horribly itchy cheeks during the night after using epidermx - it wakes me up! Would the dermabutter be likely to stop this? |
