I always have problems finding elegant and moisturizing body lotions for my dry skin, and Osea's body lotion is hands down the best I've ever tried--it is SO excellent, in fact, it softens my elbows, knees, and the bottoms of my feet instantly without being greasy and with a fresh scent (it is actually unscented, but filled with marine-based minerals).
No other body lotion has even come close--has anyone tried this?
**Does anyone know what ingredient it is that makes this product so amazing? Could it be red algae gel (the first ingredient)?
**This is an all-natural product, which also makes me happy. I hate mineral-oil-based body creams, squalane-based ones feel greasy and then dry, and almond oil works well in the winter (it warms my skin) but can be too greasy throughout the day. Osea's cream is perfect!
It is expensive, but I wish I could buy it by the gallon.

The above post is a review of the following product available at EDS:
Osea Ocean Lotion (150 ml / 5 floz)
Osea Ocean Lotion (150 ml / 5 floz)

This fragrance-free lightweight body moisturizer is immediately absorbed to hydrate dry, flaky skin with mineral-rich Patagonian Algae. Kukui Oil, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, and Rosehip leave your skin feeling hydrated and soft. Excellent for hydrating dry skin after exposure to sun, wind, and dry climates.

Yes, it is sold in stores--but mostly high-end boutiques and spas (I first discovered it at Fred Segal in Los Angeles years ago). It's a wonderful line--very active cleansers, great masks, and in my opinion one of the best intense facial moisturizers on the market (very firming, satiny texture, and lots of marine-based active ingred)--but nothing very scientific like the ranges sold through this site. I think their philosophy is that they have the most active ingredients in the "natural" category--but they don't make bold claims about their product, which I like.
I guess it says something that I still use their products after 10 years, and although I cannot get enough of their Advanced Protection Cream for my face, I just had a moment when I realized that their body lotion is actually too good not to rave about!!!
I just order through the website now.

I'm looking for the moisturizer for my face, not greasy, light, and absorbs fast into my skin. Can this be one of them? Laughing
