This is a tip from my Derm which applies to all actives EXCEPT retin A's, retinol etc.
He said to follow instructions as usual for whatever active your using, for ex. if your using Vit. c, leave it on for the allotted time your used to before the next step, 10 to 15 mins. or whatever. Then before you apply the next product take the flat of your palms and press or "push" the excess active into your skin. Do this over all areas where you have applied the active including the neck area. this only takes a few extra seconds to complete but he says it helps the product to sink in better and go a little deeper. It also helps the following products to absorb a little better!
Let me know if you find this beneficial |

Your welcome!
Side note: For all you Pro-Heal users, this method is ok. Do not do if you are using higher concentrations of retin products, as he said to never massage or "work" Retin a's into the skin. They are to be spread evenly over the face only. |

Hi Sportygirl,
Thanks for the tip! Now that you mentioned it, when I got my treatment done from my medical aesthecian (oh god I can never spell this word), that was exactly what she did. |
