Last night after a big dinner, I took my first HA pills (2), and went to sleep. Then this morning I had a packet of oatmeal and some pineapple, took one pill, and less than an hour later I threw up big time. Then I felt much better, not naseaus or anything. And I ate lunch and dinner fine. I also took a biotin and a zinc pill, but I've taken the biotin for awhile. The zinc is pretty new, but I've taken it for a few days at least. Any thoughts? Maybe I have to take the HA (or maybe zinc?) on a really full stomach? I already bought 2 bottles of the HA, and I think maybe my lips were a little plumper this morning, so I hope I can make it work! Thanks.

I would be suspicious of the zinc, only because I've had problems with it in the past. In fact, nauseau can be a side-effect of zinc I believe.

Eating often prevents this, but who knows? Maybe it was the combination of the two? Or the zinc + pineapple? Why not try the HA one morning without the zince and see if you still have a reaction.

Ohmy Gosh! I opened this thread and was thinking before it opened off my experiences with zinc pills and throwing up. Then I see you took a zinc pill! I had a violent reaction to zinc when I was younger, made me soooo sick and nauseous. I don't think I've ever been as sick as I was when I took that. Then years later, I took another one thinking that it might have been a coincidence the time before. Sure nuff, got violently ill again. I bet it's the zinc that did it to you. I've been taking hydraplenish HA for awhile now with no side effects.

Ihe HA did not make me throw up. When I take OTC stuff like HA, vitamens, I make sure to take it with food, and space the different types of pills out at least an hour or so.

I'd probably stop taking any supplements for a few days, then re-introduce them in one at a time. Everybody's chemistry is unique and some people can't tolerate certain supplement- even the pure substance without binders fillers etc. I hope it all works out for you, Cloud 9! Wink

Hopefully it is the zinc. I'm only taking it to help with acne, which is pretty much under control with other things, so it wouldn't be so bad if I had to quit. I did stop taking supplements completely since I got sick. I'll try an HA by itself first to test it out. After all your replies, it seems like zinc is the culprit. Thank you so much!

I have problems with my stomach being upset from the zinc tabs I take. I tried taking them with food, and it is a little better, but I get dizzy and then feel like I want to get sick. I stopped taking them and I am just living w/ the zinc in my mulit vit. I will try again through the link of information provided.
Thanks
