Did you try Valmont Lip Repair? If yes, did you like it? |

I have only tried a sample of this, but i really liked it. It's like a light lotion that sinks right into your lips. I have never liked the feel of regular lip balms because of their oily or sticky feel, so I think that's one of the reasons I liked it so much. My lips are extremely dry and chapped most of the time (or at least they were before I started taking HA) and the lip repair seemed to help on that. I also noticed that the staying power of my lipstick improved after using this. The price is the only thing that has stopped me from bying it. |

Thank you very much. My lips are also extremely dry and chapped, so I am always looking for something new. |

I just purchased this with my last order so have only been using it for 4 days.
What I have noticed so far, (I also don't care much for balms) is the firmness of my lips and lip line. They seem somewhat fuller, but am not sure if that's the firming effect or building of collagen. My lips are pinker and more healthy looking and the lines on my bottom lip are diminished. Could be from the extra fullness though.
It seemed a bit drying in the beginning, but now I think my lips are getting used to it and they feel normal again. My lipstick stays on much longer. and overall the lip area looks "better"!
You only need the tiniest "dot" of this to do the whole lip area (very concentrated) and so am certain this bottle will last me a good 8 to 10 months!!
So far, very happy with the product!! |

Has anyone tried both Valmont Lip Repair and Skinceuticals Anti-oxidant Lip Repair, and – if yes – how do they compare? TIA! |

Carekate I would love to know the answer to this too. I have used the Skinceuticals Anti-oxidant Lip Repair and really liked it. I was so disappointed when EDS stopped carrying this product. This thread has now prompted my interest in the Valmont product. |

FYI - I actually order my Skinceuticals Lip Repair on Ebay as I can get it for about $20USD. If you'd like the name of my Ebay seller, PM me! |

Currently I am using Anti-oxidant Lip Repair, and I just ordered Valmont Lip Repair. After I will try it, I'll let you know if I like it better. |

I had already tried the Skinceuticals Lip Repair and absolutely loved it and now I have also tried the Valmont Lip Repair and ..... absolutely love it. Both products are very similar in texture and application and the after effects are also very similar. I really can't pick any differences, even Valmont has a peeling effect on the lips after the first few uses just like Skinceuticals.
I have one thought - with Valmont, could I be putting salmon milt on my lips. |

I started using the Valmont Lip Repair. I find it to be similar to Skinceuticals Lip Repair, but better. It moisturizes my lips better, and the moisturizing effect lasts much longer on my lips.
Even though the Valmont Lip Repair is more expensive, my lips love it and I will repurchase it. |

I really loved the Valmont Lip Repair and as it had been a while since I had used the Skinceuticals Lip Repair when I wrote my comments above, I decided to purchase the Skinceuticals again so I could do a proper comparison.
Having used the Skinceuticals after having tried Valmont, IMO Valmont Lip Repair is the far superior product both in noticeable results and feel of your lips. |

I have just finishing posting a review and I know exactly what you mean about the lines. I think this might just work given a little bit of time. I am seeing improvement in a short time. |

Considering the huge price difference ($20USD vs. $175CAD), and the results are similar, I'll definitely go for the Skinceuticals even though I'm a Valmont fans. |

Ocha, I really agree that there is a significant price difference but having now used both products, the Skinceuticals will probably sit in the drawer as a standby in case I run out of Valmont between orders. IMO Valmont really is far superior in moisturising, retaining moisture and helping with the lip lines. |
