I can never think of anything good. I always end up getting her flowers which she always wants anyhow. I need suggestions. I hate the suggestions on tv, like a cell phone and a new plan.. I know she doesn't want that.. who really wants that? Godive truffles sound nice, but I think my mom's always on a diet... this is hard. And she doesn't wear jewelry... only women I know that never wears jewelry. |

You can give her a gift card to a food place or store, along with the flowers (although for my mom, she wouldn't be too happy with that since she's not much of a shopper or eating- out type person. ). I'm in the same boat as you though. I can never figure out what to get ANYONE! It seems like I get the hardest people to shop for .
I do know a lot of people who always/ are going to be taking their mothers out to eat on mothers day. I guess it depends on the person.
Those truffles sound yummy, btw!!! |

When it doubt, I get her a J.Jill gift certificate and she's the happiest woman on earth. That way, she gets to buy herself something special from her all-time favorite store and tell me about the purchase, over and over and over again............. |

this year i'm making her a foot scrub out of coconut oil, olive oil, grapseed oil, castor oil, some essential oils and brown sugar.
she can't use the salt ones, because they hurt her feet (she has psorisis).
then i'm going to give her a mini-pedicure (no polish because then her toes can't "breathe") |

I usually give my parents one "big" present a year that covers both their birthdays and Mother's/Father's Days but this year they went and bought all the big things they needed. bah. So I had to split them in two. mum ... well she is getting skin care (what else? )
I got her a bottle of the PSF Oxygen and she has samples of various vitamin C serums to try (Vivier, ISC Super, JB C&C) so later in the year I can buy her what she likes. I am also going to take a little bottle of Remergent DNA Repair (pumped from mine) over for her to try (if she likes it I will get her a full size).
I was going to pay to have her dressing table renovated (it is almost 55 years old and would look beautiful done up.. especially as we could get rid of bite marks from a certain precocious 3 year old ), but I decided to save that for next year as an 80th birthday present! |

I got her an indoor mini-rose bush so it will last. Those large hanging baskets filled with flowers are nice too. |
