Hi, I've read sooo many posts on SKII, but I still want to bring it up
My P&G contact (my work involves P&G in JP) can get 35% discount... do you guys think it's worth a try? or is it really just all hype?! I really want to try the Facial Treatment Essence |

OK, well if you can get 35% discount then I would say GO FOR IT.
I now have a Shiseido contact who can get me 30% off anything I want so I am tempted to look into their line... |

I have never personally used SKII (cos it's so pricey) but friends & relatives who have used it loved it. According to the review I have gotten, SKII is great a evening out skin tone, giving you smooth and vibrant skin. I will probably "invest" in it once I clear the "bumps" on my face. Till then... I have to save up for more congested skin products |

My sister gave me a sheet of SKII mask to try last week.
I had a glow on my face the following day. I found that I am so bright nevertheless I put foundation on it. I am so pleased with it but it is really expensive. |

Products are overpriced. Too much advertisements. I don't see great results after using the whole range for a year |

i use the essence, that's good, don't know what it's doing but i havn't reacted, so i figure i'll keep using it, their facial treatment mask on the other hand is excellent, you can see the difference in your skin after one use, the treatment clear lotion is good too, but i preffer a mechanical exfoliator. only thing i don't like at all is the eye treatment film, i actually get dark circles after i use it and i have never had dark circles.

I wonder too if this brand is all hype or not. But with a 35% discount I think that I would be willing to try it.
The product I would be most interested in trying is the Facial Treatment Clear Solution which is supposed to be good at reducing oil production. I am somewhat skeptical about this claim but I saw the ingredient list somewhere and it might work! I would also consider the Facial Treatment Essence. One thing good that I will say about SKII, I saw ingredient lists for a few of the products and for the most part they do NOT have a lot of junk in them.
If you try anything let us know what you think. |

I've been on and off using SKII since 10 years ago and have spent quite a lot of money on their products. I didn't study a lot on their ingredients but I know it's the pitera thing being the key in their products.
Facial Treatment Essence is definitely my favourite. and then the repair C, and the masks are all very good too. You can feel the difference in just a few days. My skin looks softer, brighter and smoother. I don't like the eye treatment file either. Sign Up-lift and Advanced sign treatment are also not so effective to me.
I agreed that their products are overpriced. Why don't you ask for some sample to try out first? |

My gf and her circle of friends went through an SKII period. I asked my gf her thoughts on the brand and she for the most part echoes what Ocha has said: the Facial Essence Treatment is the standout product, followed by the masks (which are good, but nothing to write home about). She adds that she thinks people with thicker skin will benefit more from the Facial Essence Treatment (she has thin skin). The treatment is a holy grail for her thick-skinned friend, and keeps her face glowing. My advice would be to first purchase one or two products -- such as the essence treatment -- to see if you like the SKII take on skincare. If everything is coming up rosewater, you could branch out into other products, especially as you can get such a good price.
Tiger, I hate to generalize an entire brand, but everything my gf and I have ever tried from Shiseido has either done nothing or NEGATIVELY impacted our skin (like shriveled me like a prune and caused my pores and lines to become more noticeable). The only reason we continue trying and then using as body washes/foot creams their products is because we keep getting them as gifts. I don't want to turn people away from trying new things, maybe you'll like their products. I just know that sometimes with connections they want you to buy a whole shopping list up front, because getting the good prices piece by piece is a hassle. But I would really recommend starting small with Shiseido.
Sort-of Edit: I just remembered, my gf is positive on Shiseido sunscreen, and uses it when she'll be in the sun all day. When it's in-and-out she's currently using Sofina. (So I guess I'm not completely against Shiseido ) |

My friend called me yesterday and I talked about SKII mask.
She told me that she wouldn't using this mask any more for somebody told her that there is a negative comment on this mask.
I have to search which sites have those information. |

I'd go for the mask also if you can get that amount of discount ! I tried the mask several times when I spent my holiday at my auntie's place (She had like 10 boxes of them!) and my skin felt so great after the first time. At first, I didn't want to try because I think it's more suitable for mature skin (since I saw my auntie was using ) but I heard from the sale lady that it's suitable for all skin type. So yeah .. like everybody said, try the mask! and you will love it! |

Facial Treatment Essence is what you can start from but I do know a lot of negative comment to this brand. The main reason is that the pitera will over-exfoliate your skin and as your skin becomes thinner. it is very sensitive to a lot of things.
So, if you do have thick skin and you need to get rid of scar of something, try it, otherwise, I think it is safer to stay away from this brand. |

I think the "Repair C" is their best product. The essence is average and the masks are pretty good IMO. |

SKII rocks, I just wish it wasn't so expensive. My skin was glowing and gorgeous when I use the Essence. |

Hi guys and girls,
I have tried this brand. It is definately NOT a good brand for people with OILY skin.....
i have very oily skin and after i used its facial essence...i was tripled in oiliness!!
Besides making my skin worse, it did absoultely nothing. This brand is actually sold quite cheap in Asian countries, and you can get it in almost any drug stores.
However, for my friends who has more mature and dry skin, said they quite liked the product. So in conclusion, oily skin should stay away from SK-II, but dry skin people might wanna give it a try |

I think their products are overpriced. You can find much better quality products for the same price. |

I have used several products of SKII. none of them works. I think they are overpriced. My skin is combination, and a little bit sensitive. |
