I scraped my chin and there is a scab that half came off and the spot is inflamed. What should I put on it to help it heal and take down the inflammation? |

Ouch! I do this all the time--- isn't is a nightmare? One thing that really helps inflammation is green tea, so brew up a cup, use a little of it to make an aspirin mask for your face, then drink the rest. (The two-prong approach of treating it inside and out usually works well for me.) If it's bleeding and oozing a lot rubbing a plain ol styptic (sp?) pencil over it will help with that. If you have a sephora nearby you could go get a sample of Juice Beauty blemish serum--- it'll help with the inflammation and also help the scab to heal itself faster. Also, try to keep the area disinfected with tea tree oil, etc. HTH! |

Lavender essential oil diluted is good for reducing inflamation, maybe try adding a few drops to some aloe vera gel to soothe the area. |

By the sounds of the reviews I have just read, PSF O2 serum seems like a good thing to put on it. |

How about some antibiotic ointment to prevent further infection? |
