Thank-you Zazu for introducing me to this 5 star product! If it wasn't for her awesome review, I never would have thought to try it. In fact I bought it without even trying a sample first. I've been on an active search trying to find THE cleansing milk, and I think this is the one (Although this is only the second day I've used it). If you love milky cleansers like I do, I think you will love this product. The only con is it does contain "perfume" in it, and I don't really like facial products to contain perfumes. The smell is sooo light and pleasant though, that you don't even notice, and it's listed as the very last ingredient, with water being the 1st, and almond oil in the middle :P The consistency is like your typical milk cleanser, has nice fragrance, is light but works heavy duty to remove makeup and impurities. I found it to work best when I follow the directions, and put some on a cotton ball and proceed to remove all makeup, including eye (no stinging at all even with contacts in my eyes), and then rinse off with water. There is no dryness, just clean soft skin. I love it! The packaging is black with gold letters, very elegant and simple. No animal testing or ingredients Wink I really want to try more Karin Herzog products now, and am eyeing the day cream. Her line is most famous for their renowned oxygen products. I'm hesitant to try ithe O2 products though because I'm afraid they will be too strong, and I don't want anything lightened (contains hydrogen peroxide) as far as my skin or eyebrows Surprised.

Wow! Sounds like a nice cleanser Thoughtcrime! Tee hee hee, I didn't realise that the oxygenating lines did the 'oxygenating' with the help of hydrogen peroxide until I bought the PTR Oxygenating Mask and read the "do not use on eyebrows" warning Smile I wonder if they're just covering their um.... back, I'm not sure what 'concentration' would be effective at lightening hair. Does anyone know?

Thoughtcrime,

Since yours and Zazu's reviews, this cleanser is one I really want to try. I like cream cleansers but something tells me that this one will work just as great since you mentioned almond oil being amongst the ingredients.. so it's not stripping, works heavy-duty on removing make up and debris and leaves skin looking really clean and radiant.... sounds like the thing I have to try !!Surprised

Can I ask where you can purchase it from, and how much is in the container?

Summertimegirl,
this is the type of cleanser that makes me look forward to washing my face. Now, you may find it light compared to your cream cleanser... I'm not sure because I only use milky cleansers. Karin Herzog line is hailed by celebrities and featured in many magazines. I bought it from spalook.com They have free shipping over $60.00, I got it in 3 days, with lots of extra samples included, plus a nice discount off my first order! The product is U.S $29.99 for a 7.05 oz (200 ml.) They also have a low price guarantee, so if you find a product cheaper on the internet, they'll match it. Although, I don't know if they ship internationally, so you may want to call or e-mail to find out.

Hi Thoughtcrime,

Thanks very much for the information, at least I now have an idea how much it should cost. I checked out the site and unfortunately it's another Sephora, does not ship to Oz SadSadSad. I'll do some more searching and see if other sites will ship.

The line also has a cream cleanser but I'm still interested in the milk version, just curiousity from the great reviews! Very Happy

Thanks heaps !

I'm not sure why I stopped using Herzog products a few years ago! I think, for the summer, I'm just too darn oily. Anyway, the milky cleanser, eye cream, Vita-Kombi, and Mild Scrub AND Mask are all wonderful products. I was surprised that EDS doesn't carry them but how much can one store do? LOL You might try Joella Milan to see if she ships to Oz. Try www.joellamilan.com. Alexis

Hi Alexis52,

Thanks very much for this site, I just had a quick squiiz but see no info Re: Shipping to Oz, maybe as it's late and the text is just swimming.... it's a scrolly-down site :P, I'll give them a call direct and see if they will ship to Oz. It seems the harder it is to get a product, the more determined you are to get your paws on it !! Very Happy

Thanks again and I hope I get to try try the Herzog cleanser one of these days.

Summertimegirl,

Check out http://www.herzog.com.au/ they are a bit more expensive than the converted US$ price but at least they offer free shipping in Australia. It might be a good option if you are just looking to get one product, otherwise you might be better off finding a site in the US and paying for postage. You could also email them and ask to see if they are willing to send you samples.

Hey Mabsy, Wink

I swear you are a NET GENIUS !! you always find the sites for where to get stuff... I google too but never with the success rate like you ! I was actually about to give up on the Karin Herzog cleansing Milk and toss it along with my list of products into the metaphorical Sephora 'bin'.... I just want to try the one product so I'll give this a look-in.

Thanks yet again ! You're a gem Mabsy! Very Happy

Glad I could help Summertimegirl Smile My net searching abilities are not all that good really (it's probably mostly luck!). And I must be running low on luck becasue I can't find any place that does threading in Brissy. I might just have to sit down with the yellow pages and "let my fingers do the walking"... something I never thought they'd have to do again..... Smile

Hey Thoughtcrime -- that's really kind of you to offer, thanks so much ! I will email these people (they're based in Perth, WA) and see how I go first, they deal via mail-order so I hope they're as communicative online, I really need to get a new cleanser soon. I was only intending to get the Karin Herzog cleansing Milk but I read the Press for their Vita-A-Kombi Oxygen face creams and can't help but feel a certain pull to try it as well. Surprised I read somewhere that models before a shoot get a 2-hour Oxygen facial (amongst other time-torturing treatments) to get their skin and bod to the required luminous condition.

Thanks so much again !... Mabsy, have you had any luck in the yellow pages for the threading in Brissie..? Wink if your tired of finger walking, the Pages are also online, but it's hard to tell from their ads whether they specifically use threading for hair removal. I still haven't made an appointment at Weeners yet as I need to give my 'mo' another week or so.... will let you know how I go ! Wink

Summertimegirl, another site that sell the Karin Herzog line is www.beautydoor.com, and they do ship internationally. You can't order international online though, you have to contact them directly for specific details. I think some products they don't ship internationally. However, it may be in your best interest to use the site that Mabsy sent you because the shipping is free for Australia... Hopefully EDS will consider stocking this line in the future. Wink

Thanks for being so helpful Thoughtcime ! Wink I'll try out the Aussie site first and hope it all goes smoothly, I don't really mind paying for shipping, I've kind of gotten used to it from my occasional splurges on Ebay-- a seller gave me the site for USPS and I'm able to calculate the costs...but back to Karin Herzog products, how is the Cleansing Milk going for you? Would you look at trying out the other products from this line in the future? I want to be able to look forward to my cleansing as well like you do with this cleanser ! Very Happy

I took Zazu's lead when she said she used her Karin Herzog cleanser in the shower, so I've started to cleanse my face in the shower as well-- this is the best!! as you're washing it all off under a wonderful stream of water (and saving a bit of time over the sink).... my Phytomer Gentle Cleansing Cream is still with me, I have less then half of it left until I can get my hands on the Karin Herzog one.

I haven't used this line yet but if it turns out to be fantastic, I dearly hope EDS will stock it as well, because this is where I shop for all my skin care now. Smile

Hey Summertimegirl,

No luck as yet I'm afraid. And the eyebrows are getting quite ripe for the threadin' too! Smile Now that they have actually grown back they don't look that bad, just a few strays. I'm starting to wonder why i used to wax them so thin in the first place! Surprised I guess it's might be a case of 'any change is a good change' at the moment. I would like to get my whole face threaded (if I can stand it) and get the eyebrows tidied up though Sad I'm sure I'll find a place...

Mabsy.
