Okay sometimes when I curl my lashes I get these beautiful lush curls that the mascara takes to lovely. Other times (and I feel like I'm doing NOTHING different) I get these HARSH crimps.. like the outter corner of my eyelashes don't curl properly and go straight up! I'm holding it the same each time, same pressure.. maybe I'm holding it wrong in general? This has bothered me for years! I use a Shu Uemura eyelash curler so it's not like I'm using a cheapo. I've noticed someone mentioned the Model Co heated eyelash curler before. That looks identicle to the igia heated eyelash curler which sells for a few bucks on ebay. Does anyone really think that one is better than another and do those kinds really work? I don't see the possibility for crimpage with one of those. I just wish I could have beautiful constistantly curled lashs everyday instead of one ugly crimped set. Uck.. can you tell I'm annoyed? Anyone overcome their crimping issues? Can you help me out? |

This happens with me sometimes too. I feel your pain! What I've learned to do is curl them twice. The first time get as close to the lid as you can then move the curler out towards the ends of the lashes. I tend to get a much better curl using this method.
As for heated curlers, have you used your hair dryer to heat the curler? Some people say this is the same as using a heated curler. Haven't tried this myself. |
