I am 40 turning 41. I am looking for an effective eye cream to combat the dryness and the lines-crowfeets especially the area under my eyes. The skin starts to sag as well. Thinking about buying Skinceutical or CellexC products. Need some advice which is suitable and effective to combat the signs of aging, sigh........aren't we all getting older. |

Hello Mia,
Welcome to the forum ! I can recommend two eye creams that stand out for combating dryness and lines-- the Cellcosmet Contour Eye Cream and the Phytomer Contour Lift Eye Cream. I have used both and they are excellent in diminishing lines, very hydrating and were not irritating to my sensitive eyes (I wear contact lenses). The Cellcosmet eye cream has a long list of devotees on this forum as you can see from the many reviews it's received.
The Cellcosmet formula is a light-weight cream, the Phytomer formula is a cream/gel. I have used both at night and have seen marked results-- both smoothed out fine lines and were very nourishing for the delicate eye area, it's more radiant.
You probably can't prevent crows feet as we will all get them through smiling and laughing, squinting etc.... but you can help retard them by using a eye cream with SPF during the day. I use Murad Essential-C Eye Cream SPF15, a nice and fluffy, rich eye cream that absorbs very well into the eye area and seals in the moisture throughout the day for me. Another eye cream that is lighter in texture is DDF Eye Cream SPF 15. Think 'protection' for your eyes..... always wear sunglasses in the sun, if you have to squint they're likely not doing their job. Or go one better and wear a hat to cover your precious skin AND eyes !
