Hi
I have been surfing the net for info about whether the computer and indoor lighting affect our skin. I have been reading a lot of articles posted on the net about these topic, some say that the UV radiation emits from computer screen does damage to the skin and some say not, I don't know who to listen.
I am concerned since I work long hours on my computer and I would like to know how to save my skin. Has anyone come across any articles and research on this topic? And what do you have in mind? Any opinions will be appreciated. |

Hi....I'm not sure of the effects it has on our lovely skin but I do know that you can get a glare guard for the computer screen. It kind of looks like a large, square magnifying glass that clips over the computer screen. The purpose is to emit or divert the glare and light coming from screen. |

some indoor lights have UV radiations that are not filtered. (these lights are usually are the bright lamps)... however i dont think flourescent lights are a problem... there was one time when i used to expose my arms under a lamp light, which i would do for 2 weeks everyday and i realized that the skin got some what dull and darker. also, the heat makes you feel like u have a high fever. about computers, well, they have a lower radiation of UV. there is a very expensive skincare system that i know of that doesnt let you have any exposures to light (indoor lights, computer, tv, etc) while using the product on the skin... so this tells me that there is something that happens to the skin, whether its minimal or alot.... |
