I shaved my legs properly with a mach 3 blade and shaving creme for sensitive skin (with the grain not against) and there are millions of bumps! What can I do to make them go away? I hope I don't need laser skin resurfacing! |

I got bumps too after I used Veet to shave. It stayed for quite a while until I tried to apply some acne healing cream (or spot treatment for blemishes) and they will be gone in just couple days. |

Try using an ingrown hair treatment like TendSkin, or pick up some tea tree oil lotion and use that together with regular exfoliation. They should go away quickly. |

Exfoliation gloves used daily followed by body lotion always works for me and I have also found that this method reduces the hair growth on my legs, I think the exfoliation must have a similar effect as sugaring. |

Exfoliation gloves + a natural antibacterial soap like Dr. Bronner's = no bumps!
I used to LOVE the one from LUSH, Narcotik. That shower gel with scrubby gloves meant never having to cry over shaving bumps or ingrowns.

I'm sorry this might be a stupid question, but exfoliate before or after shaving? |

Just seconding the tea tree oil advice--it works like magic on my occasional shaving bumps. And, the exfoliation seems to really minimize the occurrence of those bumps. |

I exfoliate twice--- once before shaving, and once after, LOL. Before shaving I use a light, oil-free scrub like Bath and Body Works Island Hot Spot, and then afterwards to prevent ingrowns and seal in moisture I use a really rich scrub like Candessence Body Polish. |
