I finally received my order of the JUICE BEAUTY SPF 30 tinted moisturizer. Now that it's summer time, my skin tends to get a bit oily. So I only use the tinted moisturizer after some serum without the regular moisturizer. The tinted moisturizer is wonderful. It is light and my skin really absorbs it well. I don't even need to apply makeup after it. The tint evens out my skin.

What's the tint like on this one? I wasn't sure, so I got the regular SPF30 moisturizer. I was worried it might be too dark. Now I wish maybe I'd gone ahead and bought this instead. Smile Do you find it makes you a little more shiny than normal? I thought that, but I wasn't sure if it was the moisturizer or the foundation I was wearing.

Did anyone else try the tinted moisturizer/suncreen by Juice? I love their masks/peel.

I am curious about the tint color and whether the product appears shiny after application.

I can't decide between the tinted and sheer SPF30 formulas. Also, anyone who owns either one of these formulas, can you please post the % ingredients of titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, etc. I would like to figure out the PPD on both of these. But if anyone knows the PPD, please share! Very Happy

Is this product very moisturizing? My Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is almost finished and I'm thinking about purchasing Juice Beauty Tinted Moisturizer? What's the color like?

I tried this, and absolutely hated it. The color was pale and very sheer. Made me shiny, and my skin was kinda patchy looking. I still neede more coverage. Wasn't really moisturing either. Personally, I wouldn't rec, but everyones different! Very Happy

The fashion of tanning skin is fading for the more and more evidences to prove the damage from UV ray when illumating.

You'd better apply some UVA/UVB screen cream to protect youself and get more healthy skin.

Wow, that's interesting that the tinted looked pale and sheer on you. I'm sort of pale, yellow-toned. I wonder if the tinted would work for me or make me look too orange.

It's funny, but I am uber-pale! I'm so pale my undertones are grey! Laughing But around my nose and a little on my cheeks are kinda red, alot of acne scarring and such, so it made those areas look kinda sickly and patchy because it didn't cover well but was still very pale. The shine made it even weirder. That and it seemed to make my pores HUGE! I've never encountered that before....

Sorry if I'm confusing, I guess that there are so many reasons I hated this product! Laughing

Hi, I tried this a while back and I can also say with confidence that it is NOT great. There are so many other fab TMs out there, this is not one of them. I appreciate the gesture to make it all-natural, but it just doesn't cut it. I agree with all of mper's assessments:
1. it is EXTREMELY light in color (a light bisque, in fact--this is the TM, not the sheer)
2. it has a very thin consistency, thus, doesn't make me think it has that much of a ti2o or ziO concentration
3. leaves a shiny appearance on the skin

I love becca's TM--so many colors, perfect finish, also not too thick, so not so sure about the uvb/uva coverage, but I always layer TMs over sunscreens anyways in the summer.
Also, MD skincare's TMs are absolutely lovely! you can try both of the above at sephora.

I had a look at Becca TM the other day and I got lost with all the color selection! What shade do you wear in Becca?

hi lynn,

i use the "olive" shade, but you can really get a perfect match if you have a chance to sample them! I have a very strange skin color--light toned olive, which most people would interpret as yellow but in fact i am green!

I never get the whole undertone thing. I'm Oriental Asian and I'm supposed to be warm undertoned with yellow, but often warm foundations don't work on me. It's gonna be impossible for me to get a hold of Becca samples as there aren't any Becca counters in Thailand. It's such a pain living here! Smile

I've been using this for the last month or so and actually like it a lot. True, it leaves my face shiny, but once a bit of silk dust is applied, my face is left completely matte.

I have very oily skin, so I'm not so concerned with the lack of moisturizers; for me it works very well. I'll definitely repurchase, since it has all the properties I looked for in a facial sunscreen. [Physical rather than chemical, doesn't clog my pores, easy to wash off, and lots of good ingredients]

Hello,

I was actually using the non-tinted JB SPF 30, and really enjoyed it. I wrote to the company to find out the PPD, and was disappointed to learn that it is only PPD of 4. This is too low for me, so i have not repurchased this product. For some people, and for every day use a PPD of 4 is enough.

I wrote to Juicebeauty to ask them, and they replied and said the PPD was 4.

Is 4 too low for everyday use, if you work indoors?

Wow, never knew the PDD of JB was so low. thanks for posting that steffers! I have the tinted moisturizer and i like it ok, i don't think i would repurchase it. though the tint is perfect for my skin (i am kinda pale), it does leave a rather oily finish but a dusting of my pearl powder primer does the trick. it is a nice product when i am lazy and don't want to apply a separate SS from my moisturizer.

steffers, i just received my SVR tinted SS - a recommendation from tjsmom, and i love it! it gives me such a flawless finish and has really good UVA and UVB protection - spf 50 and PDD 20. i got it from skincarecentral if you're interested.
