My mom and my sister both have some stubborn brown spots on the cheeks. So I ordered the GLYQUIN XM for them to try out. The main ingredient that lighten up the brown spots is the 4% HQ. they have been putting it on for about 2 months and they are quite happy with it. They had already asked me to re-order another bottle for them. So those of you that doesn't want the redness and the peeling with the OBAGI product can give this a try. It might work for you. It certainly is a lot cheaper and only one bottle of cream instead of numerous that you need to apply morning and night. |

Thanks for the thumbs up, elee. I'm thinking of getting that with my GC from EDS. |

elee123.
Thanks for recommending this to us. Can you tell me more whether this cream is for normal, dry or combination skin type? Is is for anti-ageing skin, other than lightening up brown spots?
I haven't heard of this brand before. Is it made in the US? |

I've used this too, to even out my skin tone and get rid of some old light freckle patches from when I didn't wear suncream (and scars from me picking at my pimples which I just can't seem to help doing.....)
Anyway, I found this stuff was quite mild, but did give me that even "glow" that I didn't get with any other product. It was noticable to others as well who said I looked healthier and "glowing"! Beware that you need sun protection as it contains AHA's - even though it's supposed to contain an SPF, and I found it was better put on at night as it is also quite sticky (I was always wearing my beautiful smokey grey persian kitty's fur on my face ).
I have noooo idea where it's made, so sorry....
Anyway, off to use it again, as had forgotten that it was still there for me!!! (just moved and haven't unpacked everything - think it's in my "hidden" stock )
Edit: forgot to say that I have normal skin so it's fine on me, think it's suitable for any skin though, except sensitive because of the HQ and the AHA's in it. I doubt it offers any anti-ageing properties, but I've thrown the box out, so can't tell you exactly... |
