I have no idea what colors would look good on me, much less bring out my eyes. I need color help. Can you all help me find the right colors? My hair is bright red and I have blue eyes. I tried adding a photo but it won't let me. Neutral

Hi! I'm sure we can help you find some good colors! First things first: is your red hair natural (like, orange-red), or is it dyed (like dark cherry red)? How fair is your skin? Is it pink at all? What kind of blue are your eyes? (For example, mine are grey-blue with yellow around the pupils) Give us some more details, and i'm sure you'll have lots of suggestions for flattering colors.^-^

It is like a dark cherry red and my eyes are pale pale blue, almost grey. I don't know about the pink or not.

For shadows/liners , you should start with shades of gray and brown as they flatter all skintones. I can see your picture! Once you get good at application, I'd suggest a pale blue eyeshadow. As for blushes, I think anything except peach/orangey shades would work for you. Experiment and have fun!

Another idea would be to pick a make-up counter you like the look of and get a consulation, the MA will know straight away what colours look well on you.
You have a lovely complexion and nice features, I'd say you don't need much make-up Very Happy

Definately a grey for your eyes Very Happy

For blues eyes I really like the look of purples and browns. My eyes look either blue or blue/green depending on what I put on them. Experiment and play around with different colours. I have also seen some companies sell eyeshadows in sets for certain eye colours (I think Almay is one and there was another I saw on the Sephora website ... can't remember the name). That will help you take the guess work out of things.

I had red hair too for a long while ... at first I didn't think I could get wearing pinks ... but some pinks look really great on red heads (like a soft natural pink lip colour or blush). And I did wear some peachy colours too (NARS Orgasm blush) ... I'm not a big peach fan beyond that though.

Have fun!
