Hi all!
I have been trying a sample of this recently and have to say that I love it!
Barrier repair is recommended for 'environmentally sensitised skin'. I have been having some allergic breakouts recently so thought I would give this a try. It is an anhydrous (does not contain water) silicone based gel. I have been using it on the weekends only- I tried it once at work but when I am rushing around it tends to make my oily skin very very shiney. It calms and softens my skin, and appears to reduce blemishes. Overall I am impressed although wouldn't be able to use this everyday- but still maybe worth purchasing to control breakouts and soothe skin etc.
Thanks!

I've used this too, went through one tube, but the second is laying in my drawer because I'm not sure if I like it anymore. It does feel lovely on your skin, and you can feel that it's creating a barrier on your skin, hence the name
It made my skin oiler and it the tube doesn't go very far. It's an ok product, nice to use now and again, but it didn't do anything spectacular for me. |

I tried a sample of this recently and was really impressed. My skin had been feeling very irritated and everything seemed to bother it. One evening I used this after washing my face and it just felt so soothing. I have oily skin and I did not feel that it made my face greasy. I have another sample and a trial size so I will be trying this some more. I am going to use this again after my 70% gylcolic acid peel later this week and am very interested to see how that works. I don't think that I would use this everyday because it has a lot of silicones which I am not a big fan of. But I think this may be one product that I will want to have on hand for those times when my skin is feeling dry and/or irritated.
I will report back on how this works post-peel. |

I've been using Barrier repair, and like what the previous posts said, it feels lovely on the skin
I find that it helps to sooth my skin, and I apply it before I put on my makeup. It helps my foundation glide on better. |

Yes it definitely feels good. so smooth!
Theresa it doesn't tend to make my skin overly oily either unless I am exercising or busy.
Love the lovely barrier repair, especially when my skin is feeling a bit itchy or irritated. recommend anyone trying it- think it would suit most skin types. |

It's lovely isnt it! It can easily subsitute for a makeup primer... very similar texture to Smashbox primer ...Model Co etc ... clear silicone base. Nice and soothing and makes your skin feel silky... |
