I mostly use wp mascaras, so I need something strong, yet mild. At the moment, I have two AMU-removers; one gel from Juvena, which does not sting, and also seems to hydrate a bit, but which is not very efficient in removing wp mascara. The other remover which I have, is the dual-phase remover from YSL, which is the most efficient one that I've ever tried. |

Hi roadtonowhere, I had posted this very same question about 6wks. ago b/c I was looking for something better than the L'oreal for sensitive eyes that I was using, also my eyes started getting red after I took off my eyemu. Long story short... I ended up with Neutrogena bi-phase eyemu remover, non-oily, you have to shake it up each time. Unfortunately it's not quite as efficient as the L'oreal one but my eyes are less red afterwards. Trade-off I guess. I'm always looking for a good one for sensitive eyes, anyone find one let me know. Thanks. |

I no longer wear waterproof mascara, so I just take off any eye makeup with sweet almond oil. |

I'm currently using Lancome Bi-Facil, but I also like the dual-phase from YSL, both work great on waterproof mascara. On days when I don't wear heavy eye makeup I use Carrot Butter Cleanser from The Organic Pharmacy or Yonka Gel Nettoyant. Pure cocoa butter is also good, but a bit oily and messy. |

I find that Almay Non-Oily makeup remover is the absolute best!! I have very sensitive eyes and this product does not irritate at all! They also come in a pad form, either product is great. You can't beat the price either.

Does jojoba oil take off Lancome's stubborn Waterproof mascara?
I love Yonka's gel nettoyant, but I have to spend a little longer on the lashes with it when I use Lacome's waterproof mascara. And found the Lancome's BiFacil too oily for me.
Still hopping to find an ultimate one-step makeup remover that takes off waterproof mascara like lightening. |

I really like Talika Eyelash Conditioning Gel as a makeup remover. I find it removes waterproof mascara quite well too. The main reason I like it though is becasue it's a gel consistancy, which is really cooling and I don't feel like I'm pulling on the skin around my eye too much when I'm removing my mascara. |

I use jojoba oil, too. I think it would remove the waterproof Lancome..it removes Shu Uemura mascara and it's very waterproof, also. I just rub a little oil on my lashes then remove with a damp cottonball..it works! |

Hi roadtonowhere,
DHC's deep cleansing oil can be used for the whole face, and it really melts off any stubborn eyeliner and mascara, i love it! |

Lifeply01. I've tried the Almay lig. version and felt it did ok. Are you able to compare the pads to the liquid relative to efficacy and cost. Thanks, Janet |

I use Lancome Bi-Facil too. I first used Lancome Bi-Facil becuase I used the mascara of Lancome at that time and using its eye make up remove should be the most safety choice.
I am now using other brands of mascara but it works very well too. |

Yes, jojoba oil does indeed remove the wp Lancome mascaras, but I have found that sweet almond oil does an even better job, if you can tolerate oil that close to your eyes. |

Here's how I've been playing it: Before I wash my face I remove my make up with either jojoba oil and DHC's deep cleansing oil. Then, after I wash and rinse my face, if there is any residue I clean it up a bit with either Sephora's eye makeup removier (smells soooo good and is not the slightest bit greasy) OR Bliss' Lid and Lash Wash (also non-greasy, thank goodness.) |

I use the Target brand of Ponds Makeup remover towelettes. I just wipe them on my eyes before I wash my face and it removes all of my eye makeup. The great thing is that they are 2.99 for 30. |

Although I don't like Clinique skincare any longer (totally dehydrated my skin), I really like their "Take the Day Off" eye makeup remover. I think it's like an "oil/water" mix .. you shake it before you use it. It easily takes off any eye makeup ... even waterproof stuff. It is a little oily though, so I take a damp cloth and gently pat off any residue left over. I think I'll repurchase this when I'm done. |
