Of all the product lines offered at EDS, I am only familiar with 2 or so. I would like to know more about which lines are organic, pure, chemical-free and how they compare.
Please list the brands you know and what your preferences (and dislikes) are, as well as how they compare. |

What a great thread!! I can't wait to see what everyone else says! Here's my experience with the organic/natural lines here at EDS:
Dr. Hauschka/Jurlique: As far as I know, these two brands are very similar in that they use natural ingredients that are carefully and organically grown. They are chemical-free and paraben-free---very pure. For Dr. Hauschka products, I use the Cleansing Milk, Cleansing Cream, and Toner right now (though I've got a few more products that I haven't tried yet.) The Dr. H products are some of my favorite products EVER--- my skin just loves them. The only Jurlique product I have tried is the Rose Silk Dust, but I'm just addicted to it and would love to try more Jurlique products in the future. Both of these companies are cruelty-free.
PSF: This company is also cruelty-free. They use most if not all natural ingredients, and some of their ingredients are organically grown at PSF's orchards. They do contain parabens, but they are otherwise fabulous products. I use and love the O2 serum, Balancing Oil, Moisture Masque, and Pumpkin Peel.
Juice Beauty: LOVE this company! 100% cruelty-free, no parabens, and all their products start with a base of organic fruit juices. I use and love the blemish serum, and the green apple peel is the single most effective product I've ever used. I also use their green apple cleanser--- very yummy-smelling!
Yon-ka: I'm not quite sure how pure these products are--- some of them may or may not contain some chemicals/parabens, BUT I do know that most if not all of their products are based on botanicals. I use the Emulsion Pure which is basically a mixture of essential oils in a castor oil base, and I LOVE it. |
