Hello everyone...
I am searching for a hair product that I can use when I put my hair in a ponytail to keep all the little fuzz around my hairline smooth. Something like a pomade, but it cannot be greasy as I have a tendency towards breakouts.
I have tried shine serums and hairsprays, but they just don't give the effect I am looking for.
As always, any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you! |

I remember reading that the ladies in the Olympics who do synchronized swimming, use a mixture of water and plain knox gelation to keep their hair in place. Maybe a light version of what they do? I've never tried it; I just recall reading it. |

aloe vera gel or a homemade flax gel?
boil the heck out of a tablespoon of flax seed in a cup of water, when it starts to thicken, stop cooking and strain out the flax. i haven't used it myself, but i've heard lots of good things about it.
also, coconut oil is what i use for my fuzzies. |

Federic Fekkai Glossing creme, or the new Sunsilk "creme" in the pink bottle. there's also Frizz-Ease glossing creams. All these products are along the same line and are meant to smooth and flyaways or frizz. |

A great thing to use is Organic Coconut Oil. It's natural state is in a waxy form and it works great by dabbing a bit of the oil in your hand and smoothing out your hair. It's also great for a leave in treatment to deeply condition your hair. I always include some when I make up a hair treatment pommade on days when I'm lounging around for a deep conditioning treatment. Plus it smells divine too! |
