Nothing completely removes blackheads, you can use products to help loosen them, but in my experiences you have to extract them yourself. My guess is that will be harder to do since they are on your back. I do know that this new Aztec Indian Healing clay I have been using, drys on the skin very tight (and pulsates), it has helped loosed my blackheads on my nose and made extraction easier. |

This might seem abnormal, but if you have blackheads on your back that are fairly big and noticable, I would have a good friend go in and extract them for you.
Blackheads, as far as I know, are pores that are clogged and exposed to air which gives them their dark color. I've seen a few nasty ones, which really needed extraction.
I use BHAs to control my blackheads. I am currently using Paula's Choice 1%, which did a good job for a while but lately I've been having issues with pores and breakouts. Probably because I've been abroad for the past 5 weeks.
Perhaps some more experienced people can help.
For cleaning, I use Cetaphil which I love.
Lightening is another product altogether, I think. I am using Paula's Choice Remarkable skin lightener. It's been maybe... 2months since I started and I still haven't seen much fading. I am supposed to give it another month. I'm going to use it until it runs out, butto be honest I really don't like the way it feels on my skin. And sometimes it rubs off. I just use it at night. But I have read that this product usually delivers favorable results. |

I extract blackheads for my hubby, he has very oily skin. I use an extractor from Tweezerman, you can find less pricey alternatives from other brand.

Clean the tools and the affected skin w/ rubbing alcohol. After extraction, I apply 1% BHA and 5% BP gel on his back, just like you'd do w/ facial care. It's been working pretty well, I see much less breakout now. |

Well, they don't sound like blackheads if you don't feel like you can extract them. If you think they are more just black dots, like scars from left over acne, I would recommend you treating them like a scar. Why don't you try the asprin mask. It really helps lighten and eliminate the "left overs" from acne or pimples. It does not happen over night, but I know it has always helped my spots. Sometimes when I am in a hurry and just spot treat the asprin mask on my left over red spots. It really seems to help. |

I have a blackhead extractor and I hate it. It hurts my skin whenever I use it. I rather just use a facial scrub. |
