Well - I finally got the 3 Minute Peel delivered yesterday! ($100 for 1 oz.) To answer Magda's question- yes it is a brand new product. Came out the first of 2004. I ordered mine in mid-Jan. and just got it yesterday because people were buying it faster than the company could make it (or so I was told). I couldn't wait to try it last night!!
You apply it with a cotton ball or square, avoiding the eyes and lip area. Let it sit for 3 minutes (or less if you have ultra sensitive skin - but just the first time) and rinse with cool water. I also purchased a post-peel balm by Remede to use but I'm sure there are a million of those out there that might be just as good.
I have only tried peels at home 2 other times and, at first, I was concerned this one wasn't going to do much because the "tingling" was not as noticeable as the others and those didn't do much for me. BUT - while applying my makeup this morning, it seemed that the lines around my mouth and nose - the laugh lines, smoking (when I was in college - not now!!) and frown lines - as well as my crows feet and forehead lines were much less noticeable. It was especially noticeable with what I call my "smoker's scowl" lines - which start on my cheeks beside my nose and extend all the way down around my mouth. Those are the ones I hate the most!
But I wanted to make sure I wasn't imagining so when I got to work, I asked my secretary if anything looked different about my "makeup" to which she replied:
"You look like you are wearing a new foundation. You're skin looks smoother and you don't look as tired as you did (gee thanks!)"
I am Very Happy now!! I've only used it once and the directions say once a week for 6 weeks before you take a break. I can't wait until next week! I admit, I am somewhat of a newbie when it comes to peels. Maybe the other two were just bad products - but I loved this. It was very gentle - at least to me and I have fairly sensitive skin. PLUS- I can't stop taking my powder out of my purse to look again just to make sure the lines really have diminished as much as I first thought - and they have!! |

No - I don't think this site carries Remede products. I ordered it from Bliss Spa (www.blissworld.com). BUT - before you order it - make sure you read the post I'm about to put up which gives an update on my original review. It may or may not change your mind!
