I am a fair skinned redhead with very sensitive reactive skin. I use the serum every few days with my morning moisturizer (I use either Elastine Jour or Creme 83, both from Yonka). It makes my skin feel like satin or velvet and lets my foundation and makeup glide right on.
To use it, I squeeze some moisturizer into my palm and then pump a few drops (just less than one pump full) on top of the moisturizer. With my index finger, I mix the two together and then apply it. |

Thanks Sashayy.
I'm also a fair skinned redhead but I don't have particularly sensitive skin. It's more normal/combination but sometimes it's normal/dry. Weird. But anyway...
A few questions:
Why do you only use it every few days?
Have you found it has had any kind of long term visible effect on the condition of your skin?
Have you tried any other yonka treatments or moisturizers (83 noted)?
Thanks! |

Hey Trinka,
I have a bottle of this at home and use it every-so-often. I have normal to combo skin (also very fair). This stuff smells great, very natural and herbal. I can't tell you about any improvements because I have not been using it often enough. That's mainly because I have all this other stuff that I am trying to finish off at the moment (Origins Skin Guardian and Murad Energizing Pomegranate Treatment). Once I finish those off then the Yonka Serum is next on the list of 'regular use'.
I haven't tried any of the other YonKa stuff (apart from their cleansers and toners, which are great!) so I can't compare this to any of their other treatments.

I use it every few days because that is what I was told to do by my esthetician and I trust her.

In my case, I find that the serum ups the "glow" quotient in my skin, making it seem smoother, sleeker, more velvety, enough so that my hubby has actually commented on the improvement. It has the added bonus of making my makeup go on smoother.

I've also used ther Dermols, both the Elastines and I use 83 as my everyday moisturizer. I've also purchased the Mesonium but it hasn't arrived yet so I can't tell you about it. |
