Marks/scars etc. can take a long time to heal, so depending on how severe they are and how your skin reacts to things, 1 month might not be long enough to notice a significant improvement.

I would keep up w/ the Vitamin E. Taking Vit C internally is good for a lot of things, but if you want the good effects on your skin, it would probably be quicker and more efficient to use an external application. In the DIY thread there is a recipe for a Vit C serum you can make yourself, and there are loads of reviews on different Vit C serums you can buy all over this board.

Probably the MOST important thing though, re: scarring, marks, etc. is to wear a good photo-stable sunscreen EVERY day, whenever you're going to be outside, b/c you don't want the marks you have to get darker, and you don't want the sun undoing whatever progress you're making with the products you're using.

Browse around the boards a little more--you'll find lots of old threads on these very same problems (which might be why people haven't responded--the info is already out there ).

Good luck!

(Also, you might want to type out full words, sometimes things like "sum1" make posts more difficult to read)

Neutrogena has an acne mark fading peel and i've had pretty good results for fading my brownish red spots.

Like Tularyn was so kind enough to explain to you, your post is very difficult to read as it is written. If you write in plain English, I'd imagine you may get more responses. HTH.

FYI - Taking that much Vitamin C internally isn't going to be that much of a help. Your body only absorbs what it needs and gets rid of the rest. You could save some $$ just by halving the amount you're taking.

The Vitamin E is a good start, be patient. Your body isn't going to repair itself overnight.

Also - considering the time of year, the sun could also be inhibiting the healing. Make sure you apply a strong SPF sunblock to your face b4 heading outside. The sun will only darken the scars.

Laughing well first it was cheeks were falling, then it was chin skin was falling and then as everyone answered it just got worse. The other had holes in her face, when given answers she shot them down, then said she had holes in her nose. Same type of post once was her eyes were falling out or somesuch thing. Just ridiculous plus its the exact same writing.

no yen,
this was weeks ago, totally diff post and totally different "new memeber" name but exact same spelling and tone ect. Even became very argumentive with others who took time to help her. I've seen this now about 3 or 4 x's in last 6 months or so. I think this person just changes names, creates new account and thinks up something funky. Rolling Eyes Now if I am wrong and this is real, then I say I am sry and I'll take more pms meds Embarassed !!!!

Laughing I remember the holes one! Especially the nose - she had a hole in her nose! Shock I thought she was the one that also said her skin was falling off and her mom was a derm. I think it was the same post where she STARTED with the falling skin and then afterward as she started getting replies she told us about the hole in her nose.

I actually did a search with the keyword "holes" and was surprised at what came up. Quite a few of those similar threads (similar spelling/grammar errors).
You're not seeing things Melissa.

OMG! This is toooo funny! I actually tried to answer the "hole in the nose" post but it got a little too frustrating for me, because I couldn't understand half of what the poster was saying and had to re-read it a few times before making an attempt at it! And your right, it does sound like the same person!

Mick - please go back to the original thread you started (http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=14801) and read the information you got there instead of posting another duplicate topic. Also, please refer to forum posting guidelines - in particular I'd like to refer you to the message content/writing style section (http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=3228)
