I found Aminogenesis Photolagen really great for sensitive skin, it adds moisture and seems to build my skin up.
Maybe you should consider trying another brand of mineral makeup to see if that would make any difference. Mario Badescu Silver Powder is good for getting rid of blackheads over time. |

Hello Anna,
Yes, jag är svensk!
Så det är en rengöringskräm som lämpar sig för tunn och ömtålig hy, med stora porer?
Har du använt den länge, och hur stor blev din förbättring så att säga?

OCM does not work for me, the best I think for you would be a very low strength prescription retinal creme. |

I agree with daniel that a low strength prescription retinoid is a great idea. I've been battling blackheads all my life but since I started using differin/tazorac every day when I was my face more and more blackheads are just falling out of my pores. |

Liz,
I have been considering switching from Differin to Tazorac or RetinA but don't know if my skin can handle it. When did you start using Tazorac? Are you using it everyday with the Differin or alternating? Are you experiencing any irritation? If your skin can handle the Taz maybe mine can too! TIA |

Hi Theresa! I too have been worried about using Taz since my skin is so darn sensitive, BUT since I've been tolerating Differin so well (not even a hint of redness, dryness, or peeling) I think gradually moving up to Taz is a good move for me. I've actually only used the Taz twice so far, and I've been going really easy on it just in case my skin is sensitive to it. I've been using it only twice a week (Differin on all the other nights), and when I use it I mix a pea-sized blob with La Roche Posay Toleriane Fluid in my palm and then apply. Also, I've been using these brilliant Gentle Correction Pads from PTR that contain just a bit of SA and GA, but I skip these on the morning after the Taz and instead use a very gentle toner. So far my results have been so favorable that I think starting next week I will try to use the Taz without diluting it with the moisturizer. Of course, I will keep the updates coming. HTH!! |

Vanilj, I'll respond in English because I received a PM from someone who thought that it was rude to write in another language that all cannot understand.
I feel that it works well for my blackheads. It is not so much a cream as it is an exfoliant type. You don't scrub it on your face you 'press' it on gently and do this for up to 5 minutes. I think my pores look smaller because I don't have blackheads anymore. I use this each night and I do think it has helped me. It is made from almonds. I hope that someone here can explain how it works better than I can. Many people here use it. I am on my second tube.
Also, I have ordered mine from www.bodystore.nu it is much cheaper than at hälsokost stores. I usually order other Dr.Hauschka products at the same time so the frakt of 39SEK is not much in my opinion.
I should mention about the OCM. I haven't tried it but it does exist in Sweden because you make it yourself. Two of the ingredients are Castor oil (ricinolja) and then an oil like, Almond, Jojoba, Olive. There was a thread on here about it. Maybe you could search (up at the top) for it here? |

I will also vote for Dr. Hauschka cleansing cream. Blackheads on the nose have always been a bother for me, but this cleanser zaps them and they dont return.
I also had success with other products in term of getting rid of them, but by the next morning they would be back. Not so with Dr. H. though!!
Removing cleanser using a muslin cloth also is a big help. |

I vote for Dr. H CC - I have incredibly sensitive skin but it also can be a bit oily, and I have persistent, pesky blackheads. I have been using Dr H for a week, and so far, it has definitely helped to get rid of some, and it has not irritated my skin - amazing! Not sure really how it works, but it does |
