| I saw a link of how to use mineral make up foundation a few days ago in this forum and the girl in the picture seemed to only use powder as her foundation. Today I found a shop in my city also sells mineral make up, but it seems they only have powder. That is why I am curious whether mineral make up foundation is powder and how long this powder can stay in the face. |

| Some companies Jane Iredale & Youngblood have mineral makeup in Liquid form as well I believe Pur Luxe |

Hi liangzhiz,
The thing that you have to understand is that MMU powder foundation is nothing like ordinary face powder.
MMU looks and feels like a powder ... but once on the face and allowed a few minutes to "set" ... it softens and looks very natural ... assuming you've got the right colour match for your skin tone.
The keys are to (a) get a good match to your skin and (b) putting on very thin layers of MMU and (c) letting it sit and settle for a few minutes.
MMU tends to be "moisture repellent" and many stay on even after swimming. All you do is gently pat your face dry and your MMU should be just fine. So ... it stays on very well until you take it off.
Even on our recent hottest days, when I was sweating, my MMU performed very well ... much better than any other foundation I'd used in the past.
You can get MMU liquid makeups ... and Pure Luxe has a "cream" foundation ... but I've found that the powder works well ... looks very natural ... and has the staying power that I'm looking for.
