I wanted to say thanks to all of you! I joined this site on August 1st. I was not lurking before then, so I did not see any of your great advice prior to this month.
...Anyway, I realized when I got out of the shower today that my skin looks better than it has in a long time. I owe it all to everyone on EDS! I have added only a few things to my routine, and they are all great. I'm not sure what the difference in my skin is. I still have broken capillaries across my nose and I still have some scarring (chicken pox & a couple of indented acne scars). My skin just looks brighter and happier. I've been looking at it all day! - Now if I could just take care of these puffy eyes.

I have to say, my involvement in this board (for about the past 6 months or so) has definitely had results on my skin, too. I've gotten a lot of "Your skin looks great" comments lately, which I have NEVER heard in my life. My acne is all but gone, and my scars are definitely improving.
I never solved or even really improved the problem I came here initially trying to treat -- fine lines around the eyes -- but I'm growing to accept them, just doing the best I can to keep them moisturized -- and focusing on the positive results I've seen on my skin overall. |

| me too! i am so greatful to this board.. it has changed my skin and saved me from the vicoious cycle of in-the-dark trial and error.. i thought i was doomed to waste money trying products that *may* work and mostly did not.. but not anymore thanks to you guys! |

My skin care expenses have definitely dropped in the last month too! I'm trying a couple of things that members have had good experiences with. Now, I'm not even tempted by flashing banners that say " Be wrinkle-free in 10 minutes with this amazing cream!!" ..Or something like that. I used to click on those a lot.  |

| I think most men feel that way, c4ward. I'm really lucky in that respect. My husband thinks it's absolutely necessary for me to blow a lot of money on skincare, clothes and shoes! He always says "Well, you need _Whatever____! You're a woman, and you have to have these things." |
