I got my Dermanew system in the mail...I was reading the instructions and it said that immediately after use I need to clean the pad with the foam cleaner..I only received a little packet of the foam cleaner... I have looked on the site and there are no "replacements" for the cleaner... So how am I supposed to was the pads? Am I supposed to use the foam cleaner after every time I use it (even though I do not have it?) or is there some other way I can clean them? Perhaps peroxide or something of that sort??

Hi!
I just use a mild soap on my Dermanew Pads - like Dove or something. The same thing I usually wash my face with. I don't think you have to use any special cleaner or even Peroxide as long as you get them good and clean. You can tell when they are clean b/c they'll turn back to pure white - no discoloration. The only thing you have to be careful about is being too rough while you're cleaning them because the adhesive that keeps it stuck to the plastic thing will wear out quicker if it gets wet a lot and the foam will come off which means you'll have to order new ones sooner than you might have otherwise. I have had the system for a while now and I order new ones when I can't get my old ones to turn back to pure white after cleaning or when they come apart or when the foam begins to wear down or little pieces start coming off.

| I just use facial wash too (body shop passion fruit to be exact) and find thats fine. I like the idea of using something thats normally used for the skin, just in case theres a residue left. |
