Has anyone else noticed that a lot of the actresses are wearing shiny brown eye shadow? Courtney Cox has it in this week's US magazine & I saw Elisha Cuthbert (Kim on 24) wearing it in an interview. The thing is, these gals are so lovely they'd look good with anything. I'm thinking of trying to find the shade for me. |

I love shiny brown eyeshadow. I bought a kit called amber eyes from Duwop it comes with shiny eyeshadows in different paletts. brown, blue, green,etc... It also comes with cream eyeliner. I also like the BE tahittian sunset collection. |

I know, I know, they always look perfect. But then again, they have professional makeupartist applying their makeup and helping them to find the right shades.
I really like shiny brown eyeshadows too, but I have to be careful to not apply too much. One of my favourites (that I just rediscovered amongst my makeup) is one from Sans Soucis. |

Sephora has some very nice browns with golden flecks in them that are powder shadows (the store brand). Very nice going on and ez off. The colors look very much like what Keira Knightley has been wearing. |

I think the low-end line Kate by kanebo is a good choice if you do like "shimmering" brown eyes. Kate eye makeups are soooooo shining!!1 |

I don't use much eyeshodow on daily basis but I love to experiment with colors from time to time (only restricted in the bathroom in order not to scare anyone). I prefer the DrugStore brands as it's more affordable. IMO Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eye Shadow (02 Coffee Bean) is quite nice. It has four shades cream for highlight, midtone for crease, dark brown to line and lastly one nice rich brown with shimmers, which I absolutely adore. |

I've been dreading the return of brown make-up, as it just doesn't look right on me.
Wish I'd realised that back in the 90s
Although it does seem a little more wearable this time round than those matte so-called "natural" looks back then....
Best of luck to you girls who can get away with it. |

appletini--i totally agree with the brown eyeshadow not looking right on me. i have a couple shades and i never feel my best when i am wearing them. i should accept it and stick to my blacks, blues, purples and greens . |
