i've tried many toners on the market, expensive or inexpensive, most don't make noticeable difference on my skin
now i'm using dior prestige toning lotion, it smells very nice but still..doesn't seem to do any work
my personal favourite is kiehl's tea tree toner..it's cheap and works alright on my combination skin |

I like plain old witch hazel, it is really good for my Oily, problem skin.
I also like Dr Hauschka Clarifying Toner as a treat |

I vote for SK II essence treatment. Best for combination or oily skin |

I'm thinking of trying the AlphaDerma toner as it has no alcohol in it. The Dr. H clarifying toner is a bit too harsh to leave on so I spray it on pat it in a bit and rinse. |

PS: I also like the multivitamin toner from dermalogica. I got a 30ml sample from EDS, so impressed! Would like to try the mask later, ^_^ |

I think the best toner would depend on your skin and its unique needs.
I have dry, sensitive skin. Recently I started using PSF Firming Facial Toner. PSF claims "This toner is perfect for dry & mature skin". It's alcohol free and contains 15% DMAE (for firming). Other active ingredients are organic chamomile, organic aloe vera leaf extract, and organic neroli, all of which have calming properties.
My skin reacts to almost everything, and this toner has been working for me without irritation so far. At $16/4oz the price isn't too bad either. |

My fav is my Earth Science Clarifying Herbal Astringent - has no alcohol and contains hyaluronic acid along with 9 other herbal ingredients. It's pretty preservative-free too. I haven't found another toner I liked better or another toner with better ingredients, not even the Primavera (which the alcohol sort of dries my skin out). |

My favorites so far have been Aqua Glycolic, and a store bought GA toner that I added some Eucalyptus oil and a tiny bit of Rosemary to. |

Decleor yet again but I love the tonifying lotion. It really refreshes and the smell is wonderful. I use it to wake me up in the morning and to sooth at night. Love Decleor! |

I would either go with rose water or decleor. I find it is more effective when I store my toner in the fridge. |
