I've always loved a deep rich Cranberry scented candle as well as it's beautiful dark cranberry colour. The other scents I like are vanilla with spice, or bright, happy citrus scents. |

I love PartyLite candles. They are the ones sold through home parties. The quality is excellent! I think my favourite scent of theirs is the mulberry. Yummmmm! |

btw just finished a casa soy candle..it was just alright and didn't really find a scent i like since they r all too sweet for me
got an aveda candle..not soy and i can't even smell any scent when it's burning..
maybe that's y diptyque is still the best afterall, since i think their candles have quite strong scent..i guess there's no point to burn a scented candle when it doesn't make ur house smell nice |

Yipes - $39.00 for this one.
Please, someone seriously. Explain what makes these candles so unique to justify such a price tag? |

I like the Henri Bendel Lemon Verbena candles that are sold at B&BW...they're my favorite, but I buy them only when BBW has their big sale...they don't burn long enough to make them worth the retail price, imo. I even scrape out what's left of the candle wax and put it on a tart burner---for extra mileage!
Candy, I've heard soy candles are better because they burn cleaner...will be checking out your website--thanks! |

Jo-Ann's has started carrying a couple different lines of soy candles. I have a triple layered coffee scented one that I haven't lit yet... I don't have a favorite brand-- I mean, come on, it's CANDLES. If it smells good, I'm burning it! (And, yikes, not paying $39 for it!) |

No joke - I can buy several pounds of soy flakes and make oodles of candles for $39.00. <No gold coin at the bottom though, lol> |

yes i was thinking to myself, how come these candles r so expensive?? the diptyque candles cost $58 cdn each!! for diptyque, i think they have a good reason to be expensive since they use some special method to distill really concentrated fragrance..but for other candles, probably the packaging cost more than anything; i've looked around and most of these expensive ones come in very well designed package
has anyone tried voluspa candle? |

I love Pier 1 candles esp. Golden Clove. It's to die for! Their candles have strong but not over-powering scents that I can actually smell when I come in from outside when I haven't actually had them burning. Yum! They're outrageously expensive, but will burn for a hundred hours or more. I had my last one for over a year. ($70) But it was a huge candle and just lasted and lasted! |

Trapp - No.4 Orange/Vanilla
All of the Trapp candles have a very concentrated scent (doesn't die off if the candle sits out) and they are heavenly. Not the cheapest candles, but not ridiculous either. We buy them as gifts, or as a treat for ourselves. |
