Hi
Just got back to Shanghai and am sitting at my office. Got right into my obssession - checking in at EDS.
Hey, just thought I'd share - Shanghai is one great place to shop - lots of haggling but great value for money in the end. Also you can get a QiPao tailor made within 2 days - great stuff!

I'm jealous! It makes me think back to the great shopping I experienced in many of the Asian countries (haven't been to China though). I didn't particularily enjoy the haggling part of it but man you can get some great stuff! And you can also find some fantastic (and very cheap!) tailors!
*sigh* ah, the memories.... Me thinks I need to go on a holiday to Asia again

Me thinks Shanghai men quite handsome - the young ones anyway - tall and slim. The ladies are also lookers - tall with fair porcelain skin. Oooo.
Well, definitely Singapore's shopping IS getting cheaper - you should consider coming. But, do bring along sun block.

I was with my husband - so no chance to even make eyes...
I bought all shades of pastel coloured hipster jeans, some with embroidery at about USD13 each. Also, 3 pairs of printed floral jeans - I am all ready for Spring
I made 2 silk tops with Chinese collars - one black with pink trimmings, and the other - rich red floral with pale yellow organza trimmings. Also bought delicate embroidery evening bags with ornate brass handles, and also 4 pairs of shoes - pink, 2 pairs black, baby pink. And, a turqoise leather GUCCI bag..hee hee, and some blouses...
And, I picked up D&G's Light Blue at the airport too! Did not pick up any skin care - I am doing EDS shopping tonite.
We bought extra luggage bags there...
