Hi,

I am currently using the Eminence organics line and have oily/ mild acne prone skin.

I have used several different cleansers/serums/creams and none of them are giving me the results I want. I have tried many different brands and have yet to find "the one."

I go to bed at night and wake up with atleast 2-4 new pimples on the face usually on the same spots.

I have tried the juice beauty peel + serum twice and they caused me to break out so I stopped using it. (Not sure if I gave up to soon on the serum)

I want one line that has proved to work on others with the same condition.

I was also reading up on Primavera..

Thanks

mud2005 are you using any actives (prescription or otherwise) for your acne. IMO if you are getting 2-4 pimples every night just changing your skincare line will not help. Unless your skin is reacting negatively to something in the line you are currently using Wink . How was your acne before you started using the Eminence products?
In reference to the JB serum (I assume you are referring to the blemish serum) I think you gave up on this too soon. This serum contains salicylic acid which should help with acne but you need to give it at least a month to see if it will work for you.

HI,

It is definitly frustrating when you suffer with acne skin. I too know how that feels. I also spent YEARS jumping from product line to product line with no great panacea results. I was just bitterly disapointed. I also did a million internal herbal/health related therapies.

Chronic acne is very complex and can be difficult to really isolate what is causing it as there are usually many factors at work here. The one thing I know for sure is that if you are constantly trying new products you are most certainly aggravating your skin, thus creating new pimples.

I find with my skin it will go crazy if I switch product line. I have finally learned that it take up to 3 months to see any results and in the beginning your skin may go CRAZY and break out, than clear up.

I have seen several people get really good results with EO, yet the specific products are important to use. If you suffer with acne the one myth is using a moisturizer - WRONG!! Most oily/combination/acne prone skin types should stay away from any type of cream. Eminence has great serums and mask to hydrate your skin.

Second is the importance of exfoliating your skin on a regular basis!! This will totally make a difference.

Personally I find that the one product I keep going back to is Proheal Serum from IS Clinical. It is expensive but it works better than anything to clear up acne, reduce scarring and keep your skin totally clear. Sounds too good to be true I am sure, but coming from someone who had 7 years of very bad acne and still breaks out I can vouch for this. ALl my other products are from Eminence and I find these compliment the ISC very well.

Feel free to P.M me if you have any questions, as I am more than happy to share what has helped me.

I had a similar problem when I introduced an eminence moisturizer (it was the only new product). I cut that out and got better. Now I've been using a mask a few times and am breaking out - I can't be 100% sure it's eminence but am suspicious.

i think it's because of the wheatgerm oil in their products which is a 5(max) on the comedogenic scale. They used to include it in all e products but now the formulations changed. I emailed them about it and they said only certain products contain it now. I love their masques but the rest dont impress me enough to make me wanna purchase.

I put a towel on my pillow and change it every few days. I find that it helps to keep it clean especially when you sleep on one side of the face. I just changed it recently cos I got breakouts.
