I've been trying to eliminate or minimize toxins and chemicals in my house. I did some research on internet and actually you only need very few and CHEAP ingredients to clean everything. Basically, you just need distilled vinegar and baking soda and castile soap.
For example, I just use distilled vinegar and baking soda to clean the toilet bowl and it works wonderful. |

We have this product line here in Australia called ENJO which is like a microfibre glove that traps dirt in it so all you use to clean your house is water and the glove. This is a very simplified answer but you shoudl check it out if you want to eliminate chemicals from your home. I don't sell this stuff but I'm sur eyou could find someone who does online.

I've been using vinegar and bicarb for years, my partner read that using vinegar diluted with water on the inside of the windscreen will stop it fogging up, he did his car, got such a headspin from the vingear fumes he nearly fainted when he got out of his car! |

I know the vinegar can smell very strong. For glass and mirrors, mix lemon juice and water together will be a better option. I still use vinegar to wipe the mirrors in my bathroom anyway and it doesn't take a long time for the smell to disappear. I even add 1 cup of vinegar in the washer as natural fabric softener.
I'm using the natural ingreidents because they are better for our earth and cheap and still very effective. |
