My Mom is a long time fan of Oprah. She read most of the books from Ms Oprah's list. I knew she was thrilled Oprah recommended SkinMedica TNS after hearing too much about it from her friends. So, being a good daughter that I always am and armed with a gift certificate from generous EDS, I ordered this one for my Mom. She was so happy when I brought it to her yesterday but I have to wait for at least one week before I can post a review on her behalf or if I'm lucky I can get her to post a review herself. Please wait, lds and gents. I promise it will be a good one.

My mom just finished her first bottle of SkinMedica TNS Complex and she told me she just loved what it did to her skin.
This serum is not a novelty nor a quick fix nor a "faux tox". It's a real thing.
It doesn't have nice fragrance and doesn't plump up your skin or whiten your skin instanly to give you an impression of a micracle cream. It takes time to work and it works. It's also so gentle, so irritated-free.
You feel your skin is being rebuilt and retrained to grow well again and not being stripped or peeled. After three months using it nightly, my mom's skin looks firmer and more glowy. Those pores around her nose seems to be smaller. When your skin sags, pores are more visible. Those fine broken cappilaries on her lower cheeks are not so deep red. And the fine wrinkles on her forehead and under her eyes are smoother.
My mom always says there is no such thing as a wrinkle cream that can erase time traces from your face. Who needs it but only mannequines. But she believes that a good cream can help to firm, to smoothen, to moisturize, to give nourishment and to maintain healthy skin for as long as your heart desires. And TNS Complex is one of them. She loves it so much she just order SkinMedica Derma Repair Cream to go with it.

Oo Oh! I sense another "fever" starting after the Valmont and Cellcosmet ones.
Right after I finish the last sentence of your review, I click to look at Skinmedica at double quick speed - hey - I think I'll request for samples fast!
Love your reviews -
Cheers

I'm awaiting my second bottle of the Skin Medica TNS Recovery Complex. It is true, you do feel your skin being rebuilt. It's kind of exciting to see slow changes over time. I have been noticing wrinkles coming in on my forehead and between my eyebrows and the TNS has helped quite a bit. It's not an overnight change, but definitely a change. The discolorations have also lightened up quite a bit. It does what the la mer serum was supposed to do. |

I have used TNS Recovery Complex for a month, but I am still awaiting the results I have heard from many people. I wondered why I am so unlucky to have this type of buildup that takes a long time for a product to react. I still see a lot of wrinkles around my eye area. L: Does your mom apply TNS Recovery Complex close to her eyes? |

Hello Xchiou1,
My mom does not use TNS Recovery Complex anywhere close to her eyes because that is what is said in the warnings.
My mom is 45 and she has quite nice skin to begin with. She has only very fine lines under her eyes and cheeks where the skin is quite dry sometimes. She also has some freckles on her nose and forehead and some brown spots on her cheeks. TNS gives her a nice glow of firmer, clearer, more even-tone and healthier complexion.
And for her eyes right now, my mom is very happy with Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream. It's very light weight and not greasy at all and can be used all around your eyes including the eyelids.
Xchiou1, as with any other ptd, one month, IMHO, is not long enough to see the result. There is no such thing as miracle cream that can erase wrinkles and spots permanently, but a good cream can help smoothen and brighten your skin and make it look better.
Besides keeping a good routine, my mom is also very dilligently keeping her good habits of always wearing sun glasses, using very little eye makeup ( no waterproof stuff), having enough sleep and try to sleep on her back more often. Hope this helps. |

Most people that have gone the 3 months have been happy they continued to finally see the results. One woman in her 50's took 5 months to see results. And of course those lucky ones that see results almost immediately but truly the average is 3 months to see results.
I'm at the beginning of my 3rd and am very happy with my skin's firmness though I'm doing other things too. I will continue with TNS though I didn't know to avoid the eye area. I've been just rubbing it on.
I'll be more careful now.
I like skinbiology's copper peptides for the eye area . Have you tried this product, xchiou1? This one takes time too but the results are very good.

Ooops! I forgot to mention that my mom is also using SkinMedica Dermal Repair Cream on top of TNS Complex at night especially in Winter when her fragile skin can be quite dry.
I've tried it myself quite a few times and really liked it too, but it could be too rich for my combo/oily skin. I'd rather use it as a moisturizing mask and remember to wipe it all off before going to bed. It reminded me of Valmont Renewing Pack, one of my skin-lovers...hee hee hee ! |

Babyfish and Q,
Thank you both very much for your responses. I will be patient. Hopefully, I will see good result in 2-4 months. I have not used the Cellcosmet eye cream or Skinbiology's peptide yet. I have seen numerous good reviews about Cellcosmet eye cream and asked EDS to send me a sample to try when I placed a big order last week. I have not received my order and the samples yet. I hope they will include the cream in the order. I can not wait to try the cream. I do need a good eye cream. I have tried many different eye creams, but not found one that works wonders for me yet. Hope Cellcosmet's will work for me. I have not heard of Skinbiology's copper peptide eye cream. I am going to try Skinmedica's Dermal Repair and Skinbiology's copper peptide eye cream too. Thank you both again. You two are so nice.

I'm sure you will love Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream. The sample jar will last you at least a month. It's a wonderful thing that you can use this cream for the skin around your lips too. Enjoy it, Xchiou1 and please don't forget to post a review:D |
