I have read the threads about making your own C serum, and i have a quick question - Can you mix the vitamin C crystals with water and then add aloe vera gel, instead of adding the propylene glycol?
I really want to try making this, and I bought the crystals today at Wild Oats, but I only have aloe vera gel at home (the clear one from the health food store).
Does anybody know??? |

You can use the Aloe instead of the water. The PG is used to help dissolve the C - it's not a necessary ingredient. |

So just mix the vit c crystals with the aloe vera gel?? Do you have any idea of the measurements if I just wanted to make a small batch??
Thanks! |

Use the same measurements from the DIY thread. |
