Hello...
I've just received the B.E foundation starter kit. I just want to say... I LOVE IT~~~
I didn't wear make that often before because it would cause redness and break outs.. When I wore makeup for few days in a row (cleansing before I go to bed every night, of course), I started to break out.. I also developed some redness on my cheeks too.. I've used B.E. foundation for a week now and no breakouts~~~ It covered the redness very well. I'm still practicing the application method though.. I'm trying to put-on less..
I'm currently using the foundation, warmth and mineral veil in that order. I got a carrying case with the kit too.. I carry a little of the foundation for touch ups during the day.. I get sweaty on my nose so I need to touch up frequently.. I'm using the kabuki brush (also came with the kit) to apply the foundation and mineral vail. I use the flawless application brush to apply the warmth. I love the kabuki brush.. It's firm yet the bristles are very soft.. It's pricy but well worth it.. I'm thinking about getting another kabuki brush so I can use separate brushes for the foundation and mineral veil. When I tried to use the flawless application brush to "buff" on the foundation, it irritated my skin a bit. So, I use this brush to apply the warmth.
I'm also going to get the liner shadow from B.E now.... I like that I can wear dry and get a subtle look... |

Hi, I got my flawless coverage kit the other day and was so excited! I don't use makeup, but definitely need to for my wedding so I am experimenting with mineral makeup after disappointing trials with regular makeup at the department stores. They were light, but still felt heavy to me (Clinique and MAC). I've been lurking around these and other mineral makeup boards before I bought the kit.
I used them in the same order that you listed. Unfortunately I did not bring any with me here to work and I have an oil field on my T-zone!
Anyway, I'm curious to see what comments there are on the other lines of mineral makeup, especially from folks who have tried them and have comparison notes on dealing with oily/shiny patches.
There are a few boards too for resource, most are on Delphi if you type that and the makeup line into google it should put you there. Anyway you probably already know that! Good luck! |

Hi there,
Another good line that I have seen members rave about is Le Bella Donna. If you use the search feature to search in this forum, you will find a lot of information. |

Hello Ladies:
BE mineral veil is wonderful. However, I've found that the light and fairly light coverage is still too dark for me even with the mineral veil overtop so I switched to Jane Iredale and love it just as much. I still continue to use BE mineral veil with the Jane Iredale minerals along with glee. And better yet, since using the BE's products and JI product, I haven't broken out yet with acne, no lie !!!. I love these products and highly recommend them. |
