Hiya..
Id really appreciate any advice on products that I could use to try to get rid of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
It is on my abdomen and was caused by laser hair removal. I am very fair skinned so the marks stand out a lot.
I used a specially made up cream that the clinic offered which had 4 % hydroquinone and Glyocil (sp?) too. It was steroid based..and I was only to use it for 2 wks max...I ended up using it for a month! The marks actually got darker and grew in appearance.
ANY SUGGESTIONS on products or any info would be so welcome.
This is really making me depressed. |

Sorry to hear your dilemma! Have you tried checking other products otc? I mean before you start spending a lot of money you may want to ask your local pharmacist or even your local dermatologist and check with them? Since I haven't tried any other products aside from Godiva Skin Care - I'm biased to it. I don't want to sound like I'm selling Godiva but you can also check with their website and see for yourself.
I'm sure other ladies here will jump in and give their suggestions/ideas... Good Luck! |
