Bad bird or anyone,
i'm trying to find a face sunscreen that has mexoryl in the ingredient but wasn't sure how oily it will be. Have anyone try Capital Soleil Sun Block Cream - High Coverage Mexoryl XL - Face and Particularly Exposed Areas - SPF 60 - 1.7oz/50ml? I have tried the Loreal Ombrelle for the body and try to use it on the face but its quite oily. Any suggestions? I love to wear sunscreen and planning to go to Cancun, Mexico soon so I need to load up on face sunscreen. |

I am test driving the LRP Anthelios FE XL 40, the LRP Dermo-Pediatrics, and the Bioderma spf 40 Lait. They are ALL shinier than Shiseido spf 55 but of course, they all are much better UVA blockers than the Shiseido with it's wonderful matte finish. You cannot mix them either.
I guess I'd say the Anthelios used somewhat sparingly has a reasonable finish once a dusting of powder is applied. I know this is not what you wanted to hear but they all are simply a bit shiny. |

i've just started using ombrelle's spf 30 (without the titanium) and actually find it not too bad for oiliness...do you have the one w. titanium? maybe that's making it heavier?
if there is a bit of shine, i brush on a bit of dr h's body powder - it's good for face + body and i like the scent. |

I'm using LRP Anthelios and finding it extremely greasy on my face. I have oily skin at the moment so this is the problem.
I did notice when I was going through a phase where my skin was extremely dry, the LRP Anthelios 40 did not feel oily on my skin at all. |

I use LPR FE 60, but it also comes in a 40 which should be a little less oily. This product is meant for your face. I dust with Jurlique silk rose dust after, and I am totally matte all day. I just wait about 20 or 30 mins before dusting. |

Jennifer (Faith) is so precious and has been helping me find a powder compatible with the Anthélios XL Fluide Extreme 60 we both use: the Jurlique. Finally, I've found something without any iron oxides and can stay matte! Thank goodness for this kind lady!! |

I use LRP sunscreen and I love it. But I need a good loose powder to dust away the shine. |

Are there any other sunscreens that have the same level of protection as LRP but less greasy/oily? |

I am using Bioderma Photoderm AKN spray (SPF30, PPD 26) that I bought from skincarecentral. It is not oily at all. Caligrl426, if you have time before your trip, you can buy samples of the AKN spray as well as a lot of other European sunscreens (LRP Anthelios, Vichy Capital, etc.) at skincarecentral before investing in a big tube/bottle.

I first bought the Anthelios Lait which was oily and shiny and then I switched to Anthelios Fluide Extreme Face Formula and it is much better. |

I always use clarins spf40 uv titanium daily, then, during noon time, I add on top of it with LPR L 60 because I am taking noon walk for 30 min. I don't know if that is safe or will be too much. Any thought? |

I've found a wonderful organic skin care line from France called PHYT's (Plants in French) and they have a wonderful natural SPF 40 sunblock that I can't live without. You might want to check it out. |
