Lately I’ve noticed kinetin/N6-furfuryladenine (active ingredient in Kinerase) being sold online in either serum or pure powder form, which has given me the idea of adding this to a basic body moisturiser to hopefully get a similar result as Kinerase all over the body.
Was thinking of going with the serum, rather than the powder which is cheaper, as the serum seems more idiot proof, and safer than handling the pure powder form. Was aiming for a 0.1% concentration, same as Kinerase.
Has anyone else tried mixing their own Kinerase substitute (for body or face)? Is there anything I should avoid mixing kinetin with? Was thinking of putting it in a basic body lotion with “natural” ingredients, which of course I will then be contaminating with a plant growth hormone.
Ive also found zeatin, the active ingredient in the new Kinerase ProTherapy line, for sale online but with my “cooking” skills I’d best start out small and try adding that later.
Small warning - if you’re thinking of using either of these in pure powder form be careful, as like many cosmetic ingredients in pure form they can be toxic. Which makes me wonder why I put some of this stuff on my face in the first place
