I almost never wear foundation, because I think it's incredibly noticeable when someone has it on, as well as unnatural. I certainly couldn't get away with it with my boyfriend, for whom less is more with makeup. I'm also pretty lazy and don't have the patience to sit there and blend all that makeup. Rolling Eyes

Unfortunately, my skin breaks out a lot and has very uneven tone, so I've been on the lookout for a miraculous product that evens out the tone, reduces appearance of my huge pores, matches my very very light skin color, gets rid of my shine, doesn't make me break out, and yet looks completely invisible without a cocktail of foundation mixing! Sounds super demanding, and I was about to give up my quest, but some months ago, I went to Macy's and after hearing one of their makeup counter girls rave to me for 10 minutes about this product, I tried it on my hand. The first thing I noticed was the texture -- velvety smooth and light. I was a little concerned about the "one color suits all" peach tone, but the girl assured me that she used it on her very dark skin -- it blends well on anyone. Sure enough, it completely disappeared on my hand and the skintone looked incredible instantly! I had to put my hands side by side to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me -- the hand I applied it to really did have much better, more even tone. Then I tried it on my face and it blended very easily, disappeared, and subtly brightened my tone. My skin just looked really healthy (must be the peach tint). My normally huge pores almost completely disappeared. It brightened up the slight dark circles I have under my eyes and I actually looked pretty good under all that flourescent lighting, for a change. Very Happy

Initially, I bought this stuff to look good for an outdoor wedding (thus the need for subtle foundation), but since then, I can't go out anywhere without putting it on and I cannot believe how natural it looks!! It's somewhat mattifying, which is great after my morning routine's shinyfying serums. I almost don't need powder on top of it! I can't even tell that I'm wearing a foundation/tinted moisturizer in my 10x makeup mirror, with practically no effort to blend.

I was concerned about it clogging pores and causing breakouts (I have very testy, ultra-sensitive skin Crying or Very sad), but it hasn't happened so far. Really incredible stuff. It's not dirt cheap, but I've had it for about 4 months now and it's still going strong. I don't think I can live without it at this point.

I remember one night, when I first dabled with using this stuff, I came over my boyfriend's after a particularly grueling, really late night's work (he's seen me many times like that), and he actually said to me, "you know, for someone who is this tired, you certainly don't look it." Laughing And the rest was history.

By the way, I'm brand new here (my first post!) but I just wanted to say how much I love the site and would like to thank everyone for all the awesome recommends (Lip Fusion XL, for instance - amazing).

Oh, sorry I'm new to this Laughing, I should have re-stated the name in my review (it was the title of my post):
The Supernatural Poreless, Flawless Tinted SPF 15 from Philosophy.

Laughing THank you for clearing that up, annachka. When I read the title, I thought you were just very pleased with the product -- didn't realize it was actually the *product name*! Very Happy

That is wonderful you found something that works so beautifully for you. For me, that was one of several MMU foundations that did not work for me. It just seemed to sit on my face, and I didnt find a perfect shade. Fortunately for me, I finally found Everyday MMU. Thank you for the review, it's almost enough to make me try philosophy again!

Oh, just to clarify, I know they have foundations that have a similar name, but this isn't a foundation, it's just a primer or tinted moisturizer or something and it only comes in one tint.

I would post what the tube looks like, but I'm not able to link to images on the forum yet. If you search for "philosophy supernatural flawless" you'll be able to see it.

haha, sorry again everyone, I am such a newb. Laughing I wish there was a way to edit posts. Embarassed

But yeah, Philosophy. I tried other Philosophy products and they really didn't do anything for me. I liked the cleanser well, though it's nothing extraordinary. Their vitamin C powder looked interesting, but I don't think I'll be getting it now that I've found IS Clinical and PSF products, and all the DIY stuff on this awesome forum. Wink

I do wholeheartedly recommend the "flawless" moisturizer/primer thing. I think it's $30 at Sephora. I've had mine for 4-5 months and with every day use, it's still about a 3rd full.

This sound really good, but what kind of sunscreen ingredients are in this? I really want to try it but I'm allergic to chemical sunscreen ingredients. Sad My skin only seems to like titanium dioxide and zinc oxide ingredients.

This is really a great product,I like it because it covers nicely, a matte natural finish with no shine and no evidence of a madeup face. Its a fantastic product.I am 53 and the last thing I want is a madeup face;foundation can really age an older woman you have to be VERY careful with it,this product is great for older woman especially.

I read this review twice to get the name of the product. why do not you edit your original review and add the name to it?

I think there may still be a tiny bit of confusion regarding this product. I don't think it was annachka's post, but rather the name of the product itself that is a little misleading.

Here's a link to Philosophy's website that may help clarify things: http://www.philosophy.com/web/store/prod_supernatural-poreless-flawless-spf15____24045_23506
