I am seeking tips for the mineral e/s application, I use an e/s brush to apply the e/s on my eyelid, I just use a tiny tiny bit with gentle strokes, but I dont know why the e/s will end up resting on my under-eye circle, it looks like "dark-circled' eyes which I dont like, I thought I am careful enough, but I have no idea why this is the case, what are the tips for the proper application?? I appreciate all comments!

Hello bbiz, I'm so glad you tried the "butterfly" and like it. I think it's the most natural eye shadow ( or should we say eye high light ) for Spring and Summer, your eyes look younger and more alive just like you had a good night sleep.
My tip of using BE eye shadow or any kind of loose powder: dip the brush into the pot and wipe it gently on a piece of tissue paper before applying it on your skin. I always have a piece of white tissue paper handy to wipe off extra stuff from my brushes or mascara. They also good for you to observe all the colors that you are going to "paint" on your face Razz Razz Razz

babyfish: Thanks a lot for your reply Surprised ...so, do you use separate brushes applying the eyeshadows? I used to have one only, but since I started using the mineral e/s, it seems not quite possible coz the mineral e/s will lock into the brush that makes it contaminate with another color!! So, I am not sure if I should buy separate brushes for different colors? haha .. what is the trick here? I do dust off the excess before dipping it into another pot, but this doesnt remove all the previous e/s! What should I do??? Idont want to invest to another set of brushes though Embarassed !! Thanks!

hi bbiz,
what i do from preventing the loose minerals from falling all around my face is to spread loose powder around the eye area to "catch" any of the shadow, and then simply brush it off with a fluffy makeup brush. Sometimes you just have to apply the shadow before you put any face makeup on, and use makeup remover to wipe off any mistakes, then do the rest of your face.

Using the "powder under the eyes" trick does help with scattered colour. Also, holding a piece of tissue helps. My advice: TAP & PRESS the color into the eye area first, and then blend. This is not-particular to B.E. shadows, but all eye-shadow applications. Wink
