I like it because:
It's fun.
I get to meet nice people.
I learn things from you, every day. |

Ditto all of that! Everyone is so helpful and good-natured, and we all have something in common.
And, I can always count on getting a laugh here! Everyone has such a great sense of humor. |

I've always been kind of a hippie-chick who never owned make-up, or thought much about skincare beyond cleansers and sunscreen. Then one day last year, at age 42, I looked in the mirror and saw the beginnings of my very wrinkly old Aunt Aileen, who as I recall looked ancient by the time she was 50.
You guys on EDS have given me so much information, I can't even begin to tell you.
And although it's cost me some money , I've probably saved myself thousands from everyone's sharing of experience here. . .and my skin is starting to look better
So, Thanks!

1. LOVE the reviews and personal recommendations. There are quite a few experts with amazing advice.
2. love the board format - it's great that a thread can be revived - so you're not forced to repeat everything.
3. love the people and support.
4. love the products.
5. HATE the fact that I will go bankrupt! The money I saved on not purchasing useless products is outweighed by the number of NEW lemming products I want. |

share the feeling of product is a happy thing, and here just like a family, we can talk about all. |

Andrea, I was going to merely ditto you, thinking there was nothing more I could add, but then I thought of something else.
I like the fact that people can mention herbs and herbal products here without receiving huge warnings from mods that common herbs sold in any health food store are going to kill them and they should "watch what they put in their bodies." As you can guess, this happened to me on another site when I posted about an herb that literally saved my life. Gee, what a choice, dying or *possible,* unproven liver toxicity after 50 years; that was a really hard one to make.
I really appreciate that EDS treats us as intelligent adults who can engage in discussion with each other and make our own informed decisions, without know-it-all, condescending mods swooping into our posts with 36 pt. black lettering and lengthy cut-and-pasted pseudo-scientific "rebuttals." Also, when another poster may disagree about a product we are using, at least as far as I have seen, the contrary opinion is presented with respect to the person on the other side. |

I agree with all the comments above and can only add that I love coming on here because I always learn something new....like OCM, ACV, aspirin mask, etc. I never knew I had so much in my house to use on my face and body....plus I get to learn more about brands that aren't mainstream where I am....its great! |

Ditto THAT!
I love that we can share with each other;
I love that everyone is sooo friendly and helpful; and,
I absolutely love that no decent, intelligent topic is "off limits", i.e., supplements, exercise, DIY, all brands of skin/hair/body care.
This is the first place I now come each morning before starting my day.
Love the forum and all of you. Thanks ever so.

Ditto but I never met anyone yet. I hope someday I will.
I like the fact that people try their best to give advice. |

MAC8 - Wow, your post is very compelling. I agree with what you have to say and am especially intrigued by your mention of the herb. Can you elaborate (if its not too personal)? TIA! |
