I have fine lines unde my eyes, some cross-hatch and others straight. I notice them more when I smile or close one eye.
Currently using Is clinical pro heal on face and under eyes 1xday and IS clincial eye cream. Don't see much difference, what am I doing wrong, what eye product do you reccommend to reduce these problems? Do I need to use an acid or retinol under the eye? Does Retin-A help, or does it just dry the eye out?
Thanks

They sound identical to my eyes you need a lot of things: At the very least Retinol/Retin A - mild exfoliation (yes, really), and loads of plumping and firming I use HA/emu for that but am always looking for something better.
Mine are a lot improved. If I stop all this they look dreadful. |

Hi aquablue - I agree with Molly. I use a mild retinoid -- currently Avene Retrinal .05% around my eyes and .1% on the rest of my face. Over time, something like this (or stronger if you can tolerate it) will tighten and smooth the area. I also recently started using DMAE 4% amine fromwww.skincarecentral.biz (thank you Molly for introducing me to this site! -- I'm still loving the Bioderma SS, BTW) which has tightened up things even more.
These are both drying though so you need to add some kind of moisture.
I need to get with it as far as an eye cream goes. I have tons of samples and just tried one that I REALLY liked by Dr. Jessica Wu (I think it came with a Sephora order). Fine lines were GONE when I had this on, without making the area look oily. But if memory serves me correctly, the cost for a full-size is killing. |

I have the same problem, but the skin around my eyes just does not seem to like any retinal product. Any other suggestions? |

Msaries - did you ever try the Avene range of 'retinaldehyde' products? They are less irritating than both retinol and Retin A and almost as effective as Retin A. Otherwise Vit C does a good deal for the eye area. |

I use Tazorac (a retinoid as others have recomended) and Remergent DNA repair. They seem to work well together. I also use the PSF eye creams the Phyto one in the summer and the richer one in the winter. I'm 51 and now have very few lines. |

I had a couple of fine lines this summer after a vacation at the beach.
I used Avene Ystheal+ cream all over and the lines are gone. |

taz is a prescription retinoid. Here we need a script from the doctor in order to order it from pharmacy. Don't know if you can get it without a prescription in your part of the world.
