I just discovered this line - which they are saying is
this:
Quote: |
We like to refer to our range as “clinical strength skin care without a prescription”. That means no fluffy moisturizers - all our products are serious treatment products that provide real, visible results - and fast. Maximum results, minimum time - that's our philosophy. |
Does anyone have any feedback on their products, please? |

Hi, catski
This is the first I've heard of it so I went out to their website.
Seems like it's based on hyaluronic acid. Nothing new there. Then they have a secret formula peptide but don't say what it is. I'm a tad leery of any product that doesn't list all its ingredients.
Do you, by any chance, have a list of the ingredients?

"Identified bio chemically as a glycosaminogly can (GAG), 'The Secret Formula' was isolated about sixty years ago from vitreous humor. Its name is derived from the Greek word for glass (hyalos) which accurately describes its transparent, glassy appearance. Nur76® Eye Gel has added Coenzyme Q10 to help to strengthen and improve firmness around the delicate eye area....The Secret Formula', a KEY component of collagen, has been called a “space filler” or support scaffoldingfor living cells. It makes up much of the material in between cells and provides structure to various organs, such as the eyes, joints and skin. 'The Secret Formula' is akin to mortar in a brick wall. It holds the bricks (cells) in place. With progressive aging, Hyaluronic Acid usually breaks down and normally less and less is naturally produced within the body. Just like mortar is the first component to break down in a brick wall, so collagen degradation contributes to many of the overt signs of aging in the human body.
'The Secret Formula' is a natural substance found in great abundance in young skin, synovial fluid and other tissues in humans and animals."
This doesnt tell us much, actually, does it. Do we believe in 'secret formula's..?
How can it be legal, actually, to sell something and not list the ingredients?
Maybe the info is actually in the pack - but not in the ads.

GAGs & HA. No secret to that. And, nothing very new. These days everyone is adding those to anti-aging skincare because it works. Sometimes I think that "secret formula" is marketing hype for "Yeah, we've found a new way to use the same thing everyone else is using." Disclaimer: 'course that's just my opinion.
From the wikipedia:
"Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) or mucopolysaccharides are long unbranched polysaccharides consisting of a repeating disaccharide unit. This unit consists of an N-acetyl-hexosamine and a hexose or hexuronic acid, either or both of which may be sulfated. Members of the glycosaminoglycan family vary in the type of hexosamine, hexose or hexuronic acid unit they contain (e.g. glucuronic acid, iduronic acid, galactose, galactosamine, glucosamine). They also vary in the geometry of the glycosidic linkage. This family of carbohydrates is essential or important for the life of vertebrates and an assortment of lower animals.
GAGs form an important component of connective tissues. GAG chains may be covalently linked to a protein to form proteoglycans."
