Hi.. Can anyone recommend a good hair salon/stylist in Toronto??
My usual stylist is on Mat leave.. and my hair is going bonkers.... |

Hi there,
I currently get my haircuts done at Hair Avenue by John. So far, I really like the work he has done. The salon is located in North York at 17A Finch Ave. West. For more information call 416-221-8801. The salon also has a website online. I can't add a link to it here, but you should be able to find it using a search engine.

I go to Marc Anthony on Avenue Rd. near Wilson.

Prior to using this salon, I used to go to Vidal Sasson on Ave. Rd. north of Bloor. Can't recall the name of the stylist, she was Scottish if that's any help  |

Ouch! I'm barely willing for pay more tha $50 for a haircut! lol! 
I think I'll look into that Hair Avenue place..Have heard about it from a few friends..

| If you don't mind having your hair cut by students, I would recommend Aveda Institute. They have different level students hence different level prices.

I actually followed ur advice and did go to see Vince! Very much satisfied with him and he is my hairstylist now! |

I moved to Toronto and Athena does my hair and Vince cut my hair last week!  |

Athena is very expensive, but somewhat average...about $150 and I think Vince is about $60 to $80
I did not like Vince unability to cut your hair according to your face shape very well. |

Skincare, same problem! Vince cuts very well , he is a true professional " hair chopper", but not a very good STYLIST.
I explained him so many times that I need a bit different cut because of the shape of my face, but he was unable to "get it". After 5 times I gave up explaining, and found another one |
