I am using Retin A and read about Obagi's blender to enhance absorption.
Is there an alternative way to do this? Would a BHA product work to push it in deeper? |

PSF's O2 Serum can enhance penetration of actives. |

Im using LA AHA in the am rather than pm so it wont irritate my skin too much.
I always use emu afterwards mixed with a little CeraVe moisturing lotion. Does it have to be pure emu to work better? |

Why would you want to increase the absorption rate? If your Retin A is in gel form there is no need as there is alcohol in it. Also RAM has it's own special micro encapsulated delivery system. If you are talking about Retin A cream version or Renova than you can use a glycolic product beforehand, this will help with the absorption rate.

Im using Retin A CREAM. Will emu mixed with a bit lotion applied after the Retin A work to push it in as much as pure emu would?
Thanks |

I've heard that emu oil is a "pusher" although I don't know the reasoning behind it. My thought is if you were to apply emu mixed with lotion it would decrease the strength of the Retin A. So I guess it all depends on if you want the Retin A to work full strength or not. \
