I am using Retin A and read about Obagi's blender to enhance absorption.

Is there an alternative way to do this? Would a BHA product work to push it in deeper?

PSF's O2 Serum can enhance penetration of actives.

Im using LA AHA in the am rather than pm so it wont irritate my skin too much.

I always use emu afterwards mixed with a little CeraVe moisturing lotion. Does it have to be pure emu to work better?

Why would you want to increase the absorption rate? If your Retin A is in gel form there is no need as there is alcohol in it. Also RAM has it's own special micro encapsulated delivery system. If you are talking about Retin A cream version or Renova than you can use a glycolic product beforehand, this will help with the absorption rate.

Im using Retin A CREAM. Will emu mixed with a bit lotion applied after the Retin A work to push it in as much as pure emu would?

Thanks Very Happy

I've heard that emu oil is a "pusher" although I don't know the reasoning behind it. My thought is if you were to apply emu mixed with lotion it would decrease the strength of the Retin A. So I guess it all depends on if you want the Retin A to work full strength or not. \
