I just noticed this today. What a great idea! It's fantastic to have this resource at our fingertips and all in one place. Saves so much time searching. Thanks EDS! |

your post drew my attention to it. Great idea! However, looking through some of the posts already made there, I question myself where to put reviews for DIY things, since there are a few 'raves' posted in the new forum already, or if we should continue posting reviews in the reviews section, not mattering if it is a DIY or store- bought product. Any ideas? |

Sorry we just added this, instructions will follow in a few days. We'll be moving the DIY, tools, and reviews of DIY and tools into this section of the forum. The posts you see in there are posts that have already been moved.
The Product Reviews section will be for retail skincare and makeup products. The descriptions of each section of the forum will be redone and will be posted so that everyone is aware of where posts should go. HTH |

This is much harder task then it sounds so we will appreciate if you report the topics that we have missed and you think that they belong in "Skincare Tools & Do-It-Yourself Skincare" Forum. |

That makes sense! I bet it'll take a while to get this done though, and a while for me to get used to checking another section . Anyways, good idea for the addition, someone |

We have two topics on this subject now but I think the separation of tools and DIY is fantastic. Thanks Mabsy and Magda. |

Great idea to have a separate forum for DIY. I imagine this is a difficult task to sort them out from thousands of threads. Thanks Mabsy and Madga. |

Um, yes - I think I might have underestimated the effort involved in this. The recent posts have been moved and I'll keep moving whatever I find as I browse and search through the forum.
So, it'd be great if members could report threads that should be moved over and/or suggest search keywords (if they remember specific discussions) for us to use to maximise the amount of posts moved over. |

I think the new forum is a great idea - it'll probably take you quite a while to move all the old posts that apply Mabsy, do try to get some sleep in between!! |

could be more tricky when you get posts with diy AND retail stuff like with the dmae threads. Good luck sorting it out! |

Thank you for doing this! Will definitely help streamline things for members (like me) who are not DIY-ers. I will do my best to help with spotting posts to be moved and letting you know. |

Mabsy and Magda, thank you so much for doing this!
As Mabsy you are asking for suggestions, here comes mine: it might be too much to ask though, I am thinking if we can create sub-forums under skincare and product review forums. For instance, there are lots of discussions on subjects such as sunscreen, cleansers, vitamin-c, eye creams, etc. can we catogorize them in different folders so that people can direct their questiions or reviews under those folders? |

Thankyou both for taking on this enormous task! I'm not a DYI'er, but will keep an eye out for old posts. |
