After researching a host of eye creams promising to reduce puffiness and dark circles, I learned that the key common ingredients are peptides for collagen building and anti-inflammatory, hesperidin for flushing fluid, and chrysin for dark circles. Having now tried two products formulated with these ingredients, I find them very drying to the skin.

Does anyone know if there is recommended product to put on top of the peptide cream to relieve the dryness? I ask because I've also read that some ingredients can interfere with the peptide-hesperidin-chrysin action.

Hi Jax!

Yes, they are drying...

Try starting by using the product twice a week for a couple of weeks... Then try adding another 2 days after that and so forth until you come to your limit.

It may be that you cannot use these ingredients or that you can, but limited.

You can also try using squalane on the orbital bone to add some hydration to that area.

Personally, I use Ice Elements Illumeyes for dark circle and puffiness and I like it a lot. There are also other solutions that you may not consider drying... Try looking for Vitamin K products for dark circles and soothing green tea or cucumber for puffiness.

There is a DIY on here for a Vitamin K spa treatment made out of Knox gelatin and water... and green tea bags either warmed or chilled can work great for the puffies.

Take care.
Bosoxy.
